B. aus Streptothrixarten-Beispiele i. 5o g entfettete Mycobacter laeticola werden durch Wasser extrahiert und die wäßrige Lösung durch Eisendialysat vom Eiweiß befreit. Aus dem nötigenfalls eingeengten Filtrat werden die wirksamen Stoffe mit Pikrinsäure gefällt und die Fällung mit salzsaurem Wasser zerlegt.
