In diesen Drüsen sind also zwei
Stoffe enthalten, die den Kalkstoffwechsel entgegengesetzt beeinflussen. Das gleiche
trifft auf die Placenta zu.Process for the extraction and separation of the calcium metabolism influencing
physiological substances It has been observed that when the so-called
Parathyroid collip hormone is not just an increase, but also an
Reduction of the calcium content of the blood serum occurs. So in these glands there are two
Contain substances that have an opposite effect on the calcium metabolism. The same
applies to the placenta.
Placenten bzw. deren Zubereitungen, z. B. Trockenpulvern, künstlich überlebenden
Placenten u. a., in bekannter Weise erhältlichen Extrakte mit wasserlöslichen. organischen
The subject of the present invention is the recovery and separation
these substances. The procedure consists in getting the parathyroid glands or
Placents or their preparations, e.g. B. dry powders, artificially survivors
Placenta, inter alia, extracts obtainable in a known manner with water-soluble. organic
Solvents, advantageously mixed with one another, treated, the resulting precipitate,
which contains the largest amounts of the lime-increasing substance, separates it, if necessary
to further cleanse by repeated treatment with the same means, and that
The filtrate, which mainly contains the limescale-reducing substance, is brought to dryness and
with a water-soluble organic solvent, preferably methyl alcohol,
extracted the limescale-reducing substance. Further cleaning can then be carried out if necessary
of accompanying substances etc. take place.
2500 Collip-Einheiten ergeben. These amounts can still be obtained from the residue remaining after the extraction with methyl alcohol, which still contains residual amounts of the physiological substances that influence calcium metabolism. can be obtained by dissolving it in water and removing it from the solution by a suitable. Precipitant, preferably acetone, precipitates the lime-increasing substance. The limescale-reducing substance remains in the solution. Example of lead 1 kg of placents are subjected to artificial respiration for 4 hours according to the method of Stern-B. ate 11i. The respiratory fluid is freed of protein in a known way, it amounts to 61. These 6 1 become. evaporated down to al, mixed with the same amount of ethyl alcohol and ioo g of highly active clay, shaken vigorously and left to stand three times for 24 hours at room temperature. It is then filtered off and the clay with the adsorption products contained in it is washed out with 2% ammonia. The liquid containing the adsorption products is concentrated in a vacuum and mixed with one part each of acetone and methyl alcohol and four times the amount of ethyl alcohol. A thick, creamy, colloidal flaky precipitate, which contains most of the lime-increasing substances, precipitates out, which is dissolved in water and, as described above, mixed with acetone, methyl alcohol and ethyl alcohol and precipitated. Of the. Repeatedly dissolved and reprecipitated precipitate is then free of histophytes. From 1 kg about 1, z5 to 2 g of substance are obtained, which give between 1500 to 2500 Collip units.
