Production of blanks for cold-cut scissors. The invention
refers to a process for the production of blanks for cold impacts
Scissors and consists in particular that the handle part, so the eye and stalk, from
a single piece of wire is formed, in such a way that the free end of the
the wire forming the eye is placed over the stalk and welded while being pressed
is, while the free end of the stalk with the correspondingly thin
sheet
punched sheet obtained without welding by welding on or in front of one another
is connected. This method has over a known method according to which
the eye is formed by widening a piece of sheet metal that simultaneously forms the stalk
and then it is welded to the blade, the advantage that it is much faster and
can be carried out while avoiding significant rejects. Towards one
Another method in which the eye is formed from a brightly drawn profile wire
a particularly small piece is welded onto the leaf to reinforce the stalk
must be, while the eye-forming ring is welded to the stalk, has
the method also initially has the advantage that the small piece of stalk is welded on
difficult on the sheet and only effected with the acceptance of a larger committee
* can be, which is omitted in the method according to the invention. aside from that
three parts must be welded together in that method, while in the present one
If only two parts need to be welded together. In addition, the
by welding together the free ends of the wire forming the stalk with eye
The blank created with the scissors blade is immediately finished in one operation
while the older method involves triple pressing.
a angeschweißt.
The invention is illustrated in the drawing, for example.
a means a curved one intended to form the cock and eye at the same time
Wire, the free end b of which is bent over the stalk. c is a leaf,
which is cut from appropriately thin sheet iron or steel and
with the help of the surface d to the corresponding resulting when the parts are pressed together
Surface f of the stalk a is welded on. It can also be the top surface g of the sheet
c be butt welded to the lower surface h of the handle by spot welding.
The area / is shown in dotted lines because it is at. the hidden side
of the handle a is provided. The end b of the wire is also attached to the wire
a welded on. After the parts are united in the manner indicated, is the
Blank ready for beating. It is sufficient to hit it once and then afterwards
Deburr to give the scissor blade its final shape.
