Description
The invention relates to an outer wall box for one Combustion air and exhaust duct one with a particular atmo spherical burner system working device, such as one in a driving erable space of installed heater, water heater, cooling closet or the like, according to the preamble of claim 1.
In an outer wall box of this type (DE-PS 30 25 441) are the Combustion air duct and the exhaust duct arranged one above the other and through a wall box housed in a wall opening a box cover provided on the outside of the room wall in a Unit connected. To the exhaust gas outlet from the combustion air occurs to separate so that the exhaust gas passes into the combus air is prevented, the exhaust duct is in the box room extended into and in a base plate of the box cover trained exhaust outlet opening from frame walls of this box cover and a partition to the entrance area so that the outlet opening also outside the room wall opposite the Entry opening is largely shielded. Finally is a cover plate of the exhaust outlet opening in front of this covered in terms of area and thus the occurrence of gusts of wind in the Exhaust duct prevented. This cover plate is at the top with the upper one Frame wall and bottom connected to the partition, while since Free side openings towards the side walls of the bumper frame openings, each of which is at least the size of the exhaust gas outlet has opening, are provided. The very open to the outside Combustion air box room is from a protective grille into the special spanned against falling rocks. The actual entry The opening for the combustion air is returned in this box room sets and at least on the size of the exhaust outlet. The Grid protection cage and the cover plate are on the one component trained box cover arranged level.
The invention is based on the object of an outside To improve wall box of the type mentioned above, so too a trouble-free burner heritage in the worst wind conditions drive is guaranteed.
This task is done with an outer wall box according to the Oberbe handle of claim 1 according to the invention by the character tion characteristics of this claim solved.
Advantageous embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are in sub claims claimed.
By enlarging the exhaust outlet opening compared to the Combustion air inlet openings become backlogs in the exhaust gas flow prevented because even in unfavorable cases directly on the Gusts of wind that act on the outlet opening still exhaust the gases can emerge and spread. A diameter ratio of the Openings from 1.09 to 1.4 to 1 have proven to be advantageous. Wear the side walls of the bumper frame that are slanted downwards in conjunction with that in an inclined position approximated to it arranged cover plate to ensure that such gusts of wind the exhaust Outlet opening at most only in a very weakened and no longer obstruct the exhaust gas outlet.
The off has also proven to be particularly advantageous opening near the partition between the outlet and Arrange entry areas of the box cover to thereby the Exit opening under the strongly approximated by its inclination bring the cover plate. A practical nozzle edge from eini The actual outlet opening is still moving towards the millimeter more to the cover plate. Surprisingly, ge shows that the ver between the outlet opening and cover plate permanent discharge area for a safe and trouble-free discharge the exhaust gases are completely sufficient. The expansion of the outflow area after above by the inclined cover plate favors a deflection Exhaust gases exit upwards, causing them to continue be removed from the combustion air inlet opening.
By forming a smaller combustion air inlet step opening in the base plate of the box cover is in Ver prevents binding with a subsequent combustion air chamber, that too strong air flows enter the burner chamber and the Can blow out the burner flame. In addition, the arrangement both the exit and the entry opening in one common the base plate of the box cover the construction of this box cover as well as the wall box significantly simplified.
The inventive design of an outer wall box for a combustion air and exhaust duct ensures a fault free operation of the connection devices even if they are connected to a atmospheric burner system are equipped.
Es zeigtThe invention is illustrated below with the aid of an embodiment game of an outer wall box, which is also shown in the drawing is described. It shows
Fig. 1 einen Vertikalschnitt durch einen Außenwandkasten und Fig. 1 shows a vertical section through an outer wall box and
FIG. 2 shows an external view of a box cover according to FIG. 1.
The outer wall box shown comprises a wall opening 8 inserted into a wall opening 4 of a room wall 3 , which consists of a peripheral wall 12 and a box bottom 9 . An intermediate wall 13 divides this wall box into an upper exhaust gas chamber 5 and a lower combustion air chamber 6 . In the box bottom 9 , the exhaust gas and combustion air connection openings 10 and 11 are provided. To the outside, the wall box is closed by a base plate 14 which is attached to the wall of the room. In the area of the gas chamber 5 , an outlet opening 15 for the exhaust gases is formed in this base plate. A nozzle rim 16 of a few, for example five to ten millimeters in height, surrounds this outlet opening. In the area of the combustion air chamber 6 there is an inlet opening 20 which is also provided with a nozzle edge 21 . The nozzle rims of the two openings point in the respective flow direction. As can be clearly seen from FIG. 1, the exhaust gas outlet opening 15 is markedly larger than the combustion air inlet opening 20 . A diameter ratio of 1.09 to 1.4 to 1 has been found to be advantageous. The enlarged outlet opening 15 not only makes it easier for the exhaust gas to exit due to its large passage area, but also contributes to external wind influences on the outlet opening to prevent backflow in the exhaust gas duct by means of greater escape options for the exhaust gas flow. Holes 23 are used to fasten the base plate to the wall of the room. On the base plate is a box cover 25 bar and attachable to the holes 23 aligned eyelets 45 for a fastening screws (not shown) to attach. The box cover is surrounded by a deflector frame 26 , which is formed by an upper frame wall 27 , the side walls 28 and a partition wall 29 . The side walls 28 have a sloping edge 30 sloping in the direction of the partition. The beveling of the side walls expediently begins only after a corner approach 31st The bevels of the side walls are between 3 ° and 6 °, advantageously 4 °, compared to the base plate. The dividing wall 29 connecting the lower ends of the bevelled sides is therefore noticeably lower than the upper frame wall 27 and separates the exhaust gas area from the combustion air area outside the base plate. A narrow gap 32 in this partition serves to equalize the pressure between these two areas. A cover plate 33 is provided which fully covers the outlet opening and which merges into the upper frame wall 27 and below into the partition wall 29 so that no external air flows can act directly on the exhaust gases exiting through the outlet opening 15 and hinder the exhaust gas outlet. In this way, the cover plate also takes an inclined position. As a result, a negative pressure is generated by a gust of wind, regardless of the wind direction, in the exhaust gas outlet area between the cover plate 33 and the side walls 28 towards the outlet opening 15 , so that the throughflow of the connected device is additionally supported. It has proven to be expedient here if the cover plate lifts out in the direction of the upper frame wall 27 slightly above the connecting plane through the inclined edges 30 . On both sides of the cover plate there are free passage openings 35 towards the side walls 28 , each of which has approximately the size of the exhaust gas outlet opening. The connecting rods 34 between the cover plate and the side walls mainly serve as protection against stone chips and the like. Following the partition 29 , the base plate is spanned in the area of the combustion air inlet by a grille protective basket 39 , which is connected to the partition by struts 38 and rests on the base plate by means of a web frame 40 . At a lower end wall 41 is still a cover 42 for a condensate drain pipe (not visible). The box cover 25 designed as a molded part expediently also has a circumferential fold 44 , through which the box cover can be placed on the base plate in a secured and fixed arrangement.
