Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Versiegelungsvorrichtung für Töpfe, Becher und dergleichen Gefäße, die aus Kunst­ stoff bestehen, beispielsweise aus Polypropylen, Poly­ styrol, PVC, ABS und dergleichen. Mit der erfin­ dungsgemäßen Versiegelungsvorrichtung soll eine unver­ letzbare Verpackung ausgebildet werden, wobei die Abdich­ tung nach dem Befüllen des Gefäßes und dem darauf folgen­ den Verschließen mit einem Deckel erfolgt. Die Ver­ siegelungsvorrichtung besteht im wesentlichen aus einem Ring, in dem radial verteilt mehrere rechtwinklige Nadeln vorgesehen sind, die über eine elektrische Widerstandshei­ zung beheizt werden, die in dem Ring untergebracht ist.
Zum besseren Verständnis der Erfindung wird diese im fol­ genden anhand der beigefügten Zeichnungsfiguren näher erläutert. Es zeigt:
Fig. 1 eine Unteransicht der Versiegelungs­ vorrichtung;
Fig. 2 eine teilweise geschnittene Seitenansicht einer Verpackung, bestehend aus aufein­ ander gesetzten Töpfen, wobei sich beabstandet darüber teilweise geschnitten die Versiegelungsvorrichtung in ihrer Betriebslage befindet.
Die Versiegelungsvorrichtung für Töpfe, Becher und der­ gleichen Gefäße weist einen rohrförmigen Ring 10 aus Me­ tall mit rechteckigem Querschnitt auf, in dem eine Krone elektrischer Widerstandsheizungen 11 angeordnet ist, die eine Reihe von sich rechtwinklig erstreckenden Nadeln 12 heizen, die ringförmig an der Rückseite oder Unterseite des Rings 10 angeordnet sind.
Das Abdichten bzw. Versiegeln erfolgt entsprechend Fig. 2 bei befülltem Topf 13, der mit einem Deckel 14 verschlos­ sen ist, wodurch eine fertige Verpackung ausgebildet wird. Die Versiegelungsvorrichtung wird dann vertikal über der Verpackung angeordnet, wobei die rechtwinkligen Nadeln 12 auf eine kontrollierte Temperatur erwärmt werden derart, daß sie den Deckel 14 und die entsprechende Kante des Topfs 13 perforieren, wenn die Versiegelungsvorrichtung nach unten bewegt wird. Nach dem Perforieren wird die Ver­ siegelungsvorrichtung sofort nach oben gezogen und die Nadeln 12 werden aus ihrem Kontakt mit der Verpackung herausgezogen.
Das Schmelzen des Materials des Deckels 14 und des Topfs 13 und das darauf folgende Abkühlen erzeugt eine Abdich­ tung bzw. Versiegelung an mehreren Punkten des Materials. Um die Versiegelung aufzubrechen ist es notwendig, einen beträchtlichen Druck auf den Deckel 14 auszuüben, was nur beim ersten, willentlichen Öffnen des Topfes 13 geschieht.
Die Versiegelungsvorrichtung soll eine geeignete Größe für jeden Typ und für jedwede Verwendung der Verpackung (Gefäß mit Deckel) haben und die Betriebstemperatur und auch die Anzahl der Nadeln 12 und der jeweils angewendete Druck hängen grundsätzlich von den physikalisch-chemischen Ei­ genschaften des Verpackungsmaterials ab.
Durch diese Konstruktion ist eine praktische und einfache Garantie für die Unverletzlichkeit des in der Verpackung verpackten Produktes gegeben, ohne daß eine zusätzliche Dichtung für den Topf 13 vorgesehen werden muß.

  1. Versiegelungsvorrichtung für Töpfe, Becher und dergleichen Gefäße, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein rohrförmiger Ring (10) aus Metall mit rechteckigem Querschnitt vorgesehen ist, in dem sich eine elektrische Widerstandsheizung (11) befindet, die Nadeln (12) erwärmt, die radial und rechtwinklig zum Ring an dessen Rückseite angeordnet sind.
