Linsenscheinwerfer.
Lens spotlights. There are image projectors known which essentially
from a light source, a movable and one or more fixed mirrors,
there are two condensers and two objectives, and in which the movable mirror
is arranged between the light source and the condensers so that it absorbs the light rays
optionally throwing one of the condensers together with the associated lens and giving them the
Blocked the way to the other condenser and objective. Differs from these apparatuses
The lens spotlight according to the invention is characterized by the fact that it only has a condenser
has, which is arranged between the light source and the one movable mirror or prism
is. The elimination of a condenser makes the headlamp setup essential
simplified, a smaller housing can also be used.

o2 frei.Fig. I shows an embodiment of the headlight according to the invention in a vertical longitudinal section. a is the housing, b the lamp with the filament d @; fl, /, - and f3 are the condenser lenses; g is an aperture between them; s, and s2 are the mirrors, o1 the long focal length and o2 the short focal length lens: the mirror. is rotatable about the horizontal axis p; his movement is caused by the attacks hl. and h2 limited. In the position shown by a solid line, it throws the rays coming from the condenser into the long focal length objective o1 in conjunction with the mirror s2. After folding it down into the horizontal position, it enables the rays coming from the condenser to pass through to the short focal length objective o2.
nach Abb. i
To the condition that the light source through the condenser in the lens
is mapped to be sufficient when using the short as well as the long focal length,
the light source would have to be adjustable in the optical axis. By the headlight
according to fig. i
has been taken herevdn '@Msiand because the; puprchxiF-ser
-.of the two objectives is so large that the beam emanating from the condenser
is fully covered by both lenses. For lenses with a smaller diameter
is recommended instead of the verb. adjustability of the light source the attachment of a
Additional lens for the condenser, which can be easily brought in and out of the beam path
can: Fig. z shows such an arrangement, using the converging lens
f4, which is now the horizontal axis g rotatable and is in the vertical position
against the stop ä. When using the long focal length, the lens takes the
position drawn by solid lines, with the image of the light source
through the condenser lenses f1 to f $ and the two mirrors in the. Lens o, designed
will. When using the short focal length, the lens 14 must be in the dashed line
Lines indicated position are brought and shortens the focal length of the condenser
in such a way that the image of the light source is created in the objective O2. To transition from
long to short focal length to be able to bring about just as quickly in this case
As with the headlight according to Fig. i, it is useful to move the movement device of the
To connect mirror s1 and de of the lens f4 in a known manner inevitably.
