The invention relates to a method for producing a particular
pen used for cosmetic purposes, with a sharpenable sleeve
with its front end portion inserted into a mold and
in the sleeve then a cosmetic lead mass in the liquefied
Condition filled and subsequently solidified.
Verfahren beobachtet.Such a method is described in DE 27 18 957 C3.
There the mine mass is from the rear end of the sleeve in the
central hole filled. Depending on the viscosity
the cosmetic lead containing predominantly pigments
it is possible with this known casting method to use cosmetic pencils
to produce a lead diameter of 6 mm. Should with this
known casting method cosmetic pencils with a lead diameter
of 6 mm, difficulties arise
particularly related to the fact that in the sleeve
existing air during the pouring process of the liquefied
Mine mass can no longer escape completely. That leads to
Air pockets and therefore faulty mines. Such in the
Cosmetic pencils with air pockets are not
sharpenable, because the mine in the area of these air pockets
usually breaks off, so that such cosmetic pencils
are unusable. Another shortcoming of this known
The casting process exists in particular for pens up to one
Normal length of the order of 170 mm and relatively small
Lead diameters versus pins with a diameter of their
Mine of 6 mm and larger and a length of order of magnitude
50 mm in particular because the liquefied lead mass during
the pouring or casting from the rear end of the sleeve
Filling process when flowing through the central cavity
the sleeve can cool down too quickly, so that the lead mass often
not up to the desired shape of the tip of the
Cosmetic stick, d. H. until reaching the front
End section of the cosmetic stick remains fluid. The same
Defects were found in that described in DE 27 59 856 C2
Procedure observed.
führen, was einen weiteren Mangel darstellt. In order to remedy the shortcomings mentioned above, DE 33 27 771
C2 a method of making a cosmetic stick
described, in which the sleeve provided for the cosmetic stick
evacuated and the liquefied lead mass by negative pressure in the
Sleeve is sucked. This known method results
however, the lack that those made by this process
Cosmetic pencils do not immediately with a suitable lead tip
can be trained. Another shortcoming of the last
mentioned method is that the exact
Maintaining a required, relatively high vacuum with
Difficulties. This difficulty results
for example, from the need for sealing between those with certain
Manufacturing tolerances made sleeves for cosmetic pencils
and the mold used. The necessary
Vacuum leaks between the
Cosmetic pencil case and the mold can become one
incomplete filling of the sleeve with the cosmetic lead mass
lead, which is another shortcoming.
The invention is therefore based on the object of a method
to create the type mentioned, in which all above
Defects described in a simple and elegant way
be avoided, d. H. with which pens with leads relative
small diameters and a relatively large length can be produced,
without the need for a vacuum and with the pins
can be produced with a directly shaped lead tip.
This object is achieved in that in the
Inserted a cannula from its rear end
through which the liquefied lead mass into the sleeve
is filled. The one used in this procedure
Cannula has outer dimensions that are smaller than that
clear internal dimensions of the formed in the sleeve
Central room, so that the air in the central room
easily through the space between the cannula and the
Inner wall of the central space of the sleeve can escape if
through the cannula the liquefied lead mass into the central room
the sleeve is filled. So that the liquefied lead mass through
the cannula can be filled into the sleeve, the
the liquefied lead mass is subjected to a suitable pressure.
Because when using the method according to the invention, the air is out
the sleeve can easily escape, will be advantageous
Way in the mine mass and thus in the solidified mine of
Avoided air pockets, so that with the
Cosmetic pencils produced according to the method of the invention are good
are sharpened, because of a given by air pockets
Risk of breakage of the solidified mine is excluded. Another
The advantage of the method according to the invention is that it
is possible, the texture of the lead of the cosmetic pencil better than
to date, for example, according to customer requirements. The
affects both the strength of the mine according to a higher
applied melting range of the lead mass, as well as the
Possibility of a comparatively higher pigmentation and one
related improved opacity, which
naturally the fluidity of the liquefied lead mass
impaired. Another advantage of the invention
The process is seen in that the cosmetic, pigments
containing mine mass can also contain volatile constituents,
which is a gentle smear when applied to the skin
enable, being by the volatile components at the same time
an improvement in the adherence of the smear to the skin
is achieved after the volatile constituents pass through the
Have evaporated body heat. The application more volatile
Components in the liquefied lead mass is in the
The inventive method possible because no vacuum for
Application comes that the volatile components from the
would withdraw liquefied mine mass, but an overpressure,
by which an unwanted removal of the volatile
Components is avoided. Furthermore, it has been shown that
with certain fat or wax compositions for the
Refill a lining of the inner wall of the sleeve with a
Coating agent, as mentioned in DE 27 18 957 C3,
is not required.
verflüssigten Minenmaterials in Richtung vom vorderen Endabschnitt
It has proven to be particularly advantageous if the cannula
with its output end section close to the front
End portion of the sleeve inserted into this and then accordingly
the progressive level of the filled in the sleeve
liquefied lead material toward the front end portion
is moved out of the sleeve towards the rear end. To this
It is possible to use small pencil diameter and cosmetic pencils
large pin length just as easy to manufacture as
Cosmetic pencils of comparatively large lead diameter and
short pin length, without air pockets in the solidified
Mine are to be feared. It serves the same purpose when the cannula
is continuously moved out of the sleeve.
The method according to the invention for producing a cosmetic stick is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. The figure shows, on an enlarged scale, a longitudinal section through a casting mold 10 drawn in sections, through a sleeve 12 inserted into the casting mold and a cannula 14 inserted into the sleeve. The sleeve 12 and the cannula 14 are also only drawn in sections. The sleeve 12 for a cosmetic stick has a frustoconical end section 16 and the mold 10 is formed with a tapered end section 18 corresponding to the frustoconical end section 16 of the sleeve 12 . The sleeve 12 of the cosmetic stick lies, at least with its frustoconical end section 16, sealingly against the inner wall 20 of the conical end section 18 of the casting mold 10 , so that when the sleeve 12 is inserted into the casting mold 10 , the sleeve 12 between the sleeve 12 or its frustoconical end section 16 and the tapered end portion 18 of the mold 10, a cavity 22 remains, which is delimited on the side opposite the sleeve 12 by an ejector 24 of the mold 10 . The cavity 22 corresponds in shape to the lead tip of the cosmetic stick produced with the method according to the invention. To form the lead tip of the cosmetic stick and to fill the central cavity 26 of the sleeve 12 , the cannula 14 is introduced into the sleeve 12 , ie into its central cavity 26 from its rear end. A liquefied lead mass is then filled through the cannula 14 into the cavity 22 and into the central cavity 26 of the sleeve 12 , which is indicated by the arrow 30 drawn in the central space 28 of the cannula 14 . In accordance with the progressive filling level of the liquefied refill material, which is filled through the central space 28 of the cannula 14 into the hollow space 22 or the central hollow space 26 of the sleeve 12 , the cannula, with its dispensing end section 32 up to the vicinity of the front end section 16 of the sleeve 12 , becomes Sleeve 12 is inserted, then moved out of the sleeve 12 , which is indicated by the arrow 34 . During the filling process of the liquefied lead material indicated by the arrow 30 , the air located in the central cavity 26 can escape through the intermediate space 36 between the cannula 14 and the inner wall 38 of the sleeve 12 , so that an undesirable formation of air pockets in the solidified lead of the cosmetic pencil is avoided becomes.
