Description

Verfahren zur Herstellung von plastischen und elastischen Massen. Es wurde gefunden, daß Zellulosebenzyläther wegen ihrer Wasserechtheit in hervorragendem Maße zur Herstellung von plastischen und elastischen Massen, Lacken, Inlprägnierungs- und Isoliermitteln, Kitten. Klebemitteln, Harzen u. dgl. geeignet sind. Sie nehmen aus feuchter Luft und selbst beim Liegen im Wasser kein Wasser auf. So schützen sie als Lack den lackierten Gegenstand vollkommen vor dem Einfluß der Feuchtigkeit. Ein Feucht- oder 1Taßwerden der lackierten Gegenstände mit seinen schädlichen Folgeerscheinungen ist daher ausgeschlossen. Ähnlich wirken sie als Irnprägnierungsmittel. Als Isoliermaterial kommt ihre Unempfindlichkeit gegen Wasser dadurch zum Ausdruck, daß sie in Gegenwart von Wasser nahezu die gleiche Isolierfähigkeit zeigen wie in trockenem Zustande. Auch als besonders wasserunempfindlicher Kitt, als Klebemittel und Harz sind sie deshalb vorzüglich verwendbar. Beispiel r#.Process for the production of plastic and elastic masses.
