Description

Windkesse rinsing equipment for exits. ' Air chamber flushing devices for steps, consisting of a closed water tank, at its bottom the water supply pipe with the interposition of an inwardly opening check valve connected have become known.

The invention relates to such a rinsing device, which opposite the known has the advantage that it opens against the pressure of a spring Closing valve automatically by a resilient bolt connected to the pull cord locks. The essence of the concept of the invention is evident from the description below as well as from the drawing, which such a flushing device in longitudinal section shows: In detail i means the water container, at the bottom of which the water supply pipe 2 is connected. g represents the valve which is inserted into the inlet pipe and can be opened inwards. q. is the drainpipe, - in which turn the valve 5 is inserted, which is down, against the pressure of the spring 6, can open by the pressure of the draining water. But this opening will usually prevented by the locking pin 7 under spring pressure one end of which the pull cord 8 or the like is attached. -As in the introduction already said, water rises through the pipe 2 into the water tank i until the air pressure in this the full line pressure holds the counterweight. If you pull then back the bolt 7 for the purpose of flushing, so the valve is 5. by the pressure of in the container i pressed down standing water, so that the water through the Pipe q. can flow into the sink. The valve 5 remains automatically so long opened until the spring 6 has enough force to push the valve up again because all the water just flowed out of the container i and the water pressure no longer is large enough to overcome the force of the spring 6. At this moment jumps also the bolt 7 again under the poppet valve 5, so that the closure of the valve is secured.
