Ventil.
Die Erfindung betrifft Ventile, insbesondere Auslaufventile für Wasserleitungen jener Art, bei welcher ein eine Öffnung im Ventilkörper durchsetzender Kurbel-oder Exzenterzapfen an einer im Ventilgehäuse gelagerten Welle zum Öffnen des Ventils dient, der Schliessdruck aber durch den auf den VentilkörperwirkendenFlüssigkeits-üoderGasdruckhervorgebrachtwird.
Das Wesen der Erfindung wird aus der folgenden sich auf die Zeichnung beziehenden Beschreibung

Das Ventil C mit elastischen Dichtungsring D vermag sieh gegen den Sitz Beines z. B. an eine Wasserleitung angeschlossenen Ventilgehäuses zu legen und trägt eine Stange E mit verstärkter Ver- längerung F, welche durch den Ventilsitz hindurchgeschoben werden kann. Durch eine Durchbrechung G der Verstärkung F erstreckt sich ein Kurbel- oder Exzenterzapfen H dessen Welle bzw. Exzenter im Gehäuse gelagert und durch einen Packungsring K. abgedichtet und aussen mit einem Griff J versehen ist. Soll das Ventil beispielsweise zwecks Erneuerung oder Ausbesserung der Dichtung D herausgenommen werden, so müsste man vorher den Exzenter oder die Kurbel ausheben.
Das wird gemäss der Erfindung dadurch vermieden, dass von der Durchbrechung C aus ein Schlitz M ausgeht. der am andern Ende offen ist und dessen Breite gross genug ist um den Zapfen H hindurehzulassen wobei die Seitenwände des Schlitzes schräg zur Achse des Zapfens H stehen und wie die Zeichnung zeigt einer der Schlitzränder die Durch- brechung G auf einer Seite tangiert.
Dadurch wird erreicht, dass nach dem Freilegen des Ventilsitzes und entsprechender Drehung des Ventils das letztere herausgezogen werden kann ohne vorher den Kurbeloder Exzenterzapfen ausheben zu müssen. zugleich aber wird verhindert, dass das Ventil durch einfaches Empordrücken mittels eines Drahtes od. dgl. von der Gehäusemündung aus vom Zapfen H abgehoben oder beim Versandt des ganzen Ventils sich vomZapfen H löen kann.
