Von der Laugenwannenleitung 4 zweigt eine zu einem Enthärter 7 im Bodenbereich der Waschmaschine führende Weichwasserleitung 8 ab. In den Enthärter 7 mündet eine Leitung 9, die in einen Frischwasserzweig 10 mit Einlaßventil 11 und einen Regenerierungszweig 12 mit Regenerierungsventil 13 aufgeteilt ist. Im oberen Bereich der Waschmaschine ist ein Salzvorratsbehälter 14 mit einem verschlossenen Einfüllstutzen 15 und eine Wasserzuführungsleitung 16 mit Ventil 17 angeordnet. Unterhalb des Salzvorratsbehälters 14 und damit dem Salzvorratsbehälter 14 nachgeschaltet, ist ein entsprechend bemessenes Solesammel- bzw. Solespeichergefäß 18 angeordnet. Das Solesammel- bzw. Solespeichergefäß 18 ist mit dem Salzvorratsbehälter 14 über eine Überlaufleitung 19 und eine Soleleitung 20 in Strömungsverbindung gebracht. Der vorerwähnte, zur Enthärterleitung 9 geführte Regenerierungszweig 12 ist am Solesammel- bzw. Solespeichergefäß 18 angeschlossen. Das Solesammel- bzw. Solespeichergefäß 18 ist zweckmäßig mit einer Entlüftungsleitung 21 versehen. Die Weichwasserleitung 8 ist in ihrer Bogenführung so verlegt, daß der Leitungsbogen 8′ sich unterhalb dem Niveau des Solesammel- bzw. Solespeichergefäßes 18 befindet, wodurch dessen völliges Leerlaufen sichergestellt ist. Da das Regenerierungsventil 13 im Regenerierungszweig 12 gegenüber dem Ventil 17 in der Wasserzuführungsleitung 16 auf eine verminderte Durchflußmenge pro Zeiteinheit eingestellt ist, wird die während des Regeneriervorgangablaufes anfallende Differenzwassermenge (Differenz zwischen der zu- und ablaufenden Wassermenge) im Solesammel- bzw. Solespeichergefäß 18 zunächst gespeichert. Damit die gespeicherte Wassermenge (Sole) aus dem Gefäß 18 über dem Enthärter 7 auch abfließen kann, ist das Regenerierungsventil 13 zeitlich länger als das Wasserzuführungsventil 17 geöffnet. Zweckmäßig ist es, während des Regeneriervorganges die Entleerungspumpe 5 ständig oder in begrenzten Zeitabschnitten laufen zu lassen, so daß über den Enthärter austretendes Regenerierwasser mit dem darin enthaltenden Härtebildnern sofort abgepumpt wird und damit nicht in den Waschbehälter 1 gelangen kann. Solespeichergefäß (18) nachgeschaltet ist, das über eine Leitung (12), welche die Ventileinrichtung (13) zur Einleitung des Regeneriervorganges enthält, mit dem Enthärter (7) in Verbindung gebracht ist.1.
