Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Badematte nach Anspruch 1.The invention relates to a bath mat according to claim 1.

Previously known bath mats are manufactured using the tufting process, whereby the three methods described below are used. It exists the possibility of different patterns on a continuous tufting machine, to tuft in different pile heights and the webs so produced after fixing the pile threads by coating the back of the carpet on the Cut the desired bath mat size. The possibilities of patterning are limited with these products according to the tufting machine.

Meist werden Badematten mit dem sog. Overtuft versehen. Most bath mats are provided with the so-called overtuft. A finished, coated tufted carpet is cut to the desired size and applied to this fund with a narrow tufting machine, a so-called overtufting machine, in any pattern, color and pile height. The fund is therefore manufactured by means of its own tufting step, in which tufting is carried out on a fabric or a thin continuous fiber fleece with a basis weight of 80-110 g / m 2 or on a combination of the two. The pile yarn required for this must first be spun from a fiber. For reasons of economy, the pile yarn used usually has low weights, that is, weights below 400 g / m 2 , as a result of which the pile yarn can then no longer be tufted across the surface of the carrier. The tufting carrier then often shines through, the visual appearance is impaired, the complex process is hardly commensurate with the quality of the products produced in this way.

If very high-quality and deep-pile products are to be produced, it will Table tufting method used. The is on an overtufting machine entire bath mat tufted. With such products, very nice indivi duelle patterns are made, this is the best method of making very high quality products. The disadvantage of this method, however, is that the entire bath mat must be made by hand.

A bath mat has now been found which does not require the tufting the entire bath mat by hand as in the table-tuft process, but that not the disadvantages of the tufted and the previous overtuf Ting process manufactured products. This is accomplished by clicking on a finished needle felt carpet with a cheap surface structure an overtuft is applied.

The invention accordingly relates to a bath mat, which is characterized thereby net is that on a basic material consisting of a chemical Binder or thermally consolidated needled staple fiber fleece an overtuft is applied in any pattern.

A smooth fleece or a structured one can be used as a needled staple fiber fleece Fleece, a so-called pile fleece can be used. Textured needle punched fabrics can be made in any surface structure can be produced, for example in ribs, Velor, or waffle structure, which creates the visual appearance of the bath mat can also be varied in wide width.

The fleece used preferably has a weight per unit area of 300-600 g / m 2 . If nonwovens of the same grammage are used, a considerably more uniform and optically satisfactory fund is obtained compared to the tufting goods mentioned above, apart from a simpler process step. Needled nonwovens are characterized by great durability.

The needled nonwovens used can be made of synthetic fibers, for example Best polyester, polyamide, polyacrylic or preferably polypropylene fibers hen. Mixtures of such fibers can also be used.

The manufacture of the bath mat is by using a needle punch as Funds much easier because of the tufting step and the previously necessary step the manufacture of the pile yarn from the fiber is eliminated. That from staple fibers The finished needled fleece only has to be replaced by chemical binders or thermal impact are solidified, a step that takes place in the tufted carpet corresponds to the coating of the tufting base.

The needled and consolidated fleece is cut to the desired size and apply the overtuft on an overtufting machine. For the overtuft can pile yarns from synthetic fibers, for example polyester, polyamide, poly acrylic or polypropylene yarns can be used.

The bath mats made in this way are characterized by high durability, simple manufacturing process, wide range of patterns and optically good appearance.
