der bezweckt, die Wärn-e der den eigentlichen Ofen verlassenden Rauchgase nutzbringend
zu verwerten. Er besteht aus einem Raume, der durch eine Wand in zwei Teile geteilt
wird. An der Trennung-:-wand sind an ihrer nach dem Rauchabzugsstutzen liegenden
Seite stelladenartige Klappen angelenkt, von denen nicht bis an die Seitenwände
des Rauchabzugskanals reichende mit in der Mitte ausgesparten abwechseln. Stehen
die Klappen senkrecht zur Wand, so werden die zum Rauchabzugstutzen aufsteigenden
Gase an einem geraden Abzuge verhindert, weil sie durch: die an verschiedenen Stellen
liegenden Durchtrittsöffnungen der Klappen gezwungen werden, wiederholt ihre Richtung
zu ändern. Dabei geben die Gase einen Teil ihrer Wärme an die Wände des Rauchheizofens
