Das in Fig. 1 schematisch dargestellte Aufbereitungsgerät enthält einen Aufnahmetrichter 2, dessen Boden durch ein Shredderband 4 gebildet ist, welches geneigt angeordnet ist und über Umlenkwalzen 6, 8 geführt ist. Das Shredderband ist mit Bearbeitungsorganen 10 besetzt. Das zu bearbeitende Material wird von oben in den Aufnahmetrichter 2 eingegeben, wobei es auf das schnell umlaufende Shredderband 4 gelangt. Die Bearbeitungsorgane 10 zerreissen das in den Aufnahmetrichter gelangende Material und transportieren es zum Auswurfgatter 12, welches aus einzelnen Leisten 14 gebildet ist, die mittels nicht näher dargestellter Federn in Schliessstellung gehalten werden. Das Shredderband 4 zerkleinert das Material und fördert dabei das zerkleinerte Material gegen die obere Seitenwand 16 des Aufnahmetrichters, wobei feines Material 18 unter dem Auswurfgatter 12 ausgestossen wird. Noch nicht fertig bearbeitetes Material 20 führt im oberen Teil des Aufnahmetrichters eine rotierende Bewegung aus.
