Abstract
Description

The invention relates to a method for producing plate-shaped ceramic products, in particular of roof tiles, according to the preamble of the main claim.
In the production of plate-shaped ceramic Er-certificates, especially of roof tiles with and without Interlocking, the procedure nowadays is usually that the squeezed out moldings are put together in groups and are subjected to the ceramic firing process while standing in refractory cassettes. In doing so, support themselves the roof tile moldings from each other, which in the case of a slightly inclined position, a leaning of the moldings against each other is equivalent to. To ensure that the moldings are too close to one another and that they are mutually damaged should be avoided when pressing the roof tile moldings, elevations, cams, noses or webs provided, which lead to the fact that the briquettes rest against one another only at a few points of contact. Usually four cams (points of contact) are provided, the height of these cams being the distance between the Shapes determined from each other, which is essential for the passage of the fuel gases through the pile of piles is.
If, as mentioned, four contact points are provided, then with interlocking tiles it is possible to place three of these contact points in the interlocking, whereas the fourth point of contact must be arranged on the visible surface of the roof tile, d. i.e., the cam is attached at such a point on the underside of the roof tile that it is used when the tiles are next to one another rests on the visible surface of the adjoining brick. Incidentally, the same also applies to three-point contact; then the third point of contact must be in the area of the visible brick surface. The well-known The consequence of this inevitable arrangement of at least one point of contact in the area of the visible surface is, however, that scratches of the brick visible surfaces are unavoidable, these scratches on the visible surface particularly clearly represent a significant quality defect in engobed and glazed roof tiles. The scratches are not only caused by the transport of the tiles during the pro ■ production processes, but also during the ceramic firing process, as a result of shrinkage movements. However, this means that the problem of scratches due to particularly careful transport processes alone cannot be resolved. The object of the present invention is therefore to create a method of the type mentioned at the outset, in which the production processes are as simple as possible Non-disruptive measures avoid scratches on the visible surfaces of the moldings is, but the briquettes still maintain the necessary spacing from one another when they are stacked.
The solution to this problem results from the indicator of claim 1.
According to the invention are so when squeezing the briquettes to this elbow-like spacer integrally formed, which then form contact points when stacking or placing the moldings together located outside the molding outlines, so that no Damage and scratching of the visible surfaces of the moldings can occur. After graduation the work processes that require the spacers are separated from the molding, whereby one the finished ceramic product receives.
Another major advantage of the invention The method is that the spacers are a vertical one above the other equipped with it Allow roof tiles or rows of roof tiles without the visible or eaves sides touch. The spacers are not only used to keep the individual roof tile surfaces at a distance but also allow the roof tiles to be stacked on top of each other.
To explain the invention are in the drawing vertical section of two interlocking tile bricks with angular spacers shown.
In the drawing, 10 and 11 denote two folded tile bricks, the briquette 11 resting on the briquette 10. With 10a and 106 or 11a and Ub the usual spacer cams are referred to, which are located on the head rabbet edge of the two moldings. The two cams 11a and 112> of the upper molding 11 rest on the head rabbet edge of the lower molding 10 and thus represent two of the required contact points. Usually a third such cam contact point is also provided, namely on the longitudinal rabbet edge (on the left in the drawing) of the briquettes, but this point of contact is not visible in the sectional view shown.
According to the invention, the third or fourth contact point is now provided by angle piece-like spacers 10c or lic created. These spacers 10c or

Ein Verkratzen der Sichtfläche des unteren Formlings 10 ist damit ausgeschlossen.lic are adjacent to the visible surface of the briquettes The lower longitudinal edge of the briquettes is molded onto them and extends outside the contour of the briquette each up and down in such a way that when stacking the lower end of the upper spacer lic on seated on the upper end of the lower spacer 10c without any part of the upper molding 11 touches the visible surface of the lower molding 10. Scratching the visible surface of the lower molding 10 is thus excluded.
After completion of the work processes which require stacking, the spacers 10c and lic separated from the interlocking tiles. The spacers are preferably used to facilitate this process provided with predetermined breaking points, namely at the point at which they depart from the actual formations.
The shape of the spacers 10c or lic can differ from the shape shown, for example in the manner that the spacers are not T-shaped but L-shaped are. Furthermore, it is possible not just one of the usual To replace cams 10a, 10Z), 11a, 116 by a spacer 10c, lic, but it can also be at each molding can be several or all spacers 10c, lic such angle pieces. Will the briquettes Only standing or leaning against each other with a slight incline during the production process is sufficient usually a single such elbow-like spacer. On the other hand, must or should the moldings also, As shown in the drawing, are stacked on top of each other, then it is usually more advantageous to use each molding to be provided with several elbow-like spacers. As a material for the elbow-like Spacers are understandably the material of the moldings; however, it is also conceivable for the Use a different material for spacers.
