Description
The invention relates to a moisture-proof pipe guidance on motor vehicles, in particular for electrical conductors.
In the field of line management in general, in particular but in the case of motor vehicles, they result in the implementation of pipes through moisture-insensitive from damp walls that separate sensitive rooms is very difficult speed with regard to the sealing of the cable duct, whereby the problem of sealing with the number of by one Single conductor to be passed through wall opening disproportionately increases. A large number of lines must be used in motor vehicles from the engine compartment, which is generally insensitive to moisture through the so-called bulkhead into the damp sensitive passenger compartment, which is the Most of those to be passed through the so-called bulkhead Conductors around electrical conductors bundled into a wire harness different diameters. It is there possible, the electrical conductor bundled into a wire harness largely by wrapping the wiring harness to the outside shield against moisture and waterproof, but with what on the one hand, a very high manufacturing effort for the cable tree and on the other hand, at least in series production, not the desired sealing effect of the cable duct the bulkhead is connected.
For sealing line diameters Guides in the bulkhead of motor vehicles are further known, a sealing grommet in the respective wall opening insert which over sealing lips under radial tension resilient to the through the wall opening in the spray led through the wall, but due to the fact that the sealing lips of the sealing spout only on the outer peripheral surfaces of the outer conductors to form a bundle of conductors bundled together can also achieve a satisfactory seal is there between the individual conductors of the to a wiring harness bundled still the moisture and water through permitting free spaces remain.
Furthermore, it is known the sealing sleeves with membranes closing the wall opening equip which, when installing the cable routing from the single conductors are pierced in such a way that the membrane each sits sealingly on the outer circumference of each individual conductor. On the one hand, this procedure is only possible there where only a small number of single conductors through a single Wall opening, for example in the bulkhead must be performed, and if on the other hand a very high assembly effort can be used for the cable entry. In connection with the effort to be moisture-proof There are already suggestions to create management that a number of individual conductors in a cladding tube or tube and this cladding tube or this envelope tube is then filled with foam. In practice it has been shown here that this method wise is impracticably expensive and that furthermore the problem sealing the cable duct through a wall opening tion, especially in the bulkhead, also not satisfactory can be solved because there are difficulties in the sealing such an extremely rigid manifold, with respect to the wall opening in the bulkhead.
Finally, it has also been proposed (US Pat. No. 4,289 924), to seal the cable duct one out of two half scha connectable with each other via clips or the like len to be used hollow body, which according to the Zu join the two half-shells with a sealant is filled. With such a design of a line passage on the one hand, leadership is a very high manufacturing effort, especially when assembling vehicles, connected and others the desired or required security of the Abdich cable routing cannot be reached. At all can measures known in other fields of technology for sealing In any case, the lead-through through the walls not for sealing cable bushings in walls, in particular in the bulkhead of vehicles, if they are only created after installing the cables must, be it by filling voids with foam pieces, as is proposed in DE-PS 28 29 887, or be it through the subsequent introduction of a sealant into the Wall opening, as suggested by US Pat. No. 4,273,821 becomes. These well-known, for the cable routing in buildings certain measures each require a certain pan density, which is fundamentally not the case with motor vehicles is available. In addition, these known measures in the Assembly of motor vehicles also because of the associated Installation effort not applicable. For the same reasons in the case of cable bushings on motor vehicles the DE-GM 79 15 639 proposed subsequent completion of the Wall openings with individual pieces of a suction or source capable material for the production of a moisture-proof Sealing not applicable.
The invention is based on this prior art based on the task of a moisture-tight cable routing on motor vehicles, especially for electrical conductors create the same for sealing the pipe management of individual conductors as well as any number of suitable for a bundle of single conductors and with can be produced and assembled with the least possible effort and also for the sealing of branches of cable harnesses accommodated in cladding tubes or hoses and the like is suitable.
This object is achieved in that a single conductor or a number combined into a bundle from individual conductors at least over a limited length cut completely in a uniform block-shaped Molded body made of foamed plastic material are a force and form under radial pressure coherent and moisture-proof with the peripheral edges a wall opening or with the sealing lips or Sealing surfaces of a sealing nozzle that can be inserted into the wall opening engaging sealing body forms. Because the Single conductors and especially with a bundle of individual conductors each individual conductor over its entire scope in one block-shaped molded body from foamed and together with it pushable plastic material is included is a creep of moisture along the circumference of the conductor or in between the individual conductors of a bundle of remaining cavities absolutely excluded and there is also the possibility of block-shaped body under compression and thus under radial tension as a sealing body in a wall opening insert, such that the wall opening at the same time is sealed moisture-proof.
Part of the reduction the required number of individual parts and partly for Simplification of the installation of the moisture-proof cable guide tion in the motor vehicle can one of the peripheral edges Sealing spout covering the wall opening with the block-shaped Shaped body itself in one piece, such that Sealing spout and block-shaped molded body in one Operation can be used in the vehicle body. A advantageous application of the moisture-proof according to the invention The cable routing also results from cable harnesses and in particular especially at the branches of cable harnesses in such a way that in the block-shaped molded body made of foamed art material the end of at least one or the individual conductor receiving cladding tube or cladding tube added is, with branching the ends of several cladding tubes or enveloping tubes with an approximately their diameter the distance from each other in the block-shaped molded body foamed plastic material are included.
To ensure that when bundled together Individual conductors each of the individual conductors completely foamed tem plastic material is surrounded, is the block-shaped molding made of foamed plastic material from the center of the Lei foamed outwards and consists of one with the material of the conductor insulation and / or the cladding tube re or enveloping hoses well connecting plastic material, ins special a PUR material. When making a damp Activity-tight cable routing at junction points of cables trees, the block-shaped molding is foamed from that between the ends of the later in the block shape body-embedded ends of the cladding tubes or tubes remaining space.
One is special for the vast majority of applications ders favorable design of the block-shaped body characterized from foamed plastic material, that it has a cylindrical outer peripheral surface, wherein its length is greater than its diameter and its through knife at least larger by the amount of a conductor diameter is the diameter of the single conductor or a conductor bundle.
In the case of cable runs on motor vehicles, individual lines extend conductors or bundles of individual conductors often over the largest Part of the length or width of the vehicle body and must to do this, moisture-proof through several walls leads or in hollow body supports or the like body cavities are guided, whereby to simplify assembly the single conductor or the bundle of individual conductors after one Another design of the cable routing according to the invention it is provided that on the individual conductor or a bundle of Individual conductors in the distance of the body to be penetrated corresponding distances from each other block-shaped Shaped body made of foamed plastic material and the individual conductors or bundles of individual conductors these block-shaped molded parts made of foamed plastic moisture-proof material thanks to the associated body walls are passed through. This arrangement of several in Distances from block-shaped molded parts foamed plastic material on the individual conductors or Bundling individual conductors enables an essential association increasing their assembly in the vehicle body. So far the Single conductors or bundles of individual conductors in the hollow body clear, especially hollow beams, must be installed light up the arrangement of block-shaped moldings foamed plastic at certain intervals from each other seal, for example an outlet for one Cavity section having line branch, such that the moisture-tight seal of the outlet of a line branches from the body cavity through moisture-proof Sealing an outlet chamber takes place.

When a line is passed through a wall opening 1 , for example a bulkhead 2 of a motor vehicle, a sealing grommet 3 is inserted into the wall opening 1 , which bears against the bulkhead 2 in a water- and moisture-tight manner via sealing and clamping lips 4 . The sealing grommet 3 also has sealing lips 5 , which form a hollow body. The individual conductors 6 of a bundle 7 of electrical individual conductors are accommodated over a limited length section in a block-shaped molded body 8 made of foamed plastic material, each of the individual conductors 6 being completely encompassed by the foamed plastic material, as can be seen in particular from the illustration in FIG. 2 . The block-shaped body has in the embodiment shown a cylindrical outer circumferential surface 9 and a length which is greater than its diameter. Above all from the illustration in FIG. 2, it can also be seen that the block-shaped molded body 8 is foamed outwards from the center of the line bundle, so that all the individual conductors 6 of the conductor bundle 7 are completely surrounded by foam material. In particular, it is provided that the block-shaped molded body 8 is accommodated with its own radial compression with tension in the sealing nozzle 3 .
In the illustration of Fig. 4 is a moisture-keitsdichte line guide is shown for a designated generally at 10 harness schematically. In this type of cable harness, a multiplicity of individual conductors 11 are each received in a cladding tube 12, 13, 14, 15 . At the branching points 16 and 17 , the individual conductors 11 are bundled out of the free end 18 and 19 of the trunk cladding tube or cladding tube 12 and also introduced in bundles into the branch cladding tubes or cladding tubes 13, 14, 15 . The free end 18 or 19 of the main cladding tube or cladding tube 12 is together with the free end 20 of one or more of the branch cladding tubes or cladding tubes 13, 14, 15 and together with the bundled individual conductors 11 accommodated in a block-shaped molded body 21 made of foamed plastic material. In the illustration of FIG. 5, a portion eventually is one consisting of a number of individual conductors 6 Leiterbün trade 7 shown over which towards the individual conductors 6 of the fiber bundle 7 in spaced-intervals block-shaped molded articles are received from foamed plastic material 22. The block-shaped molded bodies 22 overlap with their outer peripheral surfaces the diameter of the conductor bundle 7 by a considerable amount and are cylindrical in the simplest case, but can also have any other cross-sectional shape if this appears expedient for the displacement of the conductor bundle 7 in special forms of the body wall .
