Description
Gaslampenzylinder mit Regelungsklappe. Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet eine Einrichtung für Gaslampen, welche die Leuchtkraft bei geringem Gasverbrauch ganz bedeutend erhöht, ohne die Lebensfähigkeit des Zylinders zu beeinflussen.Gas lamp cylinder with control flap. Die bisherigen gassparenden Regelungsschieber u. dgl. werden meist an mehreren Stellen am Zylinder angeklemmt oder kom= men ringsum mit letzterem in engere Berührung, dies hat den Nachteil, daß nach dem Anzünden der Lampe dadurch der Zylinder sehr oft zerspringt, was zur Zeit sehr nachteilig und kostspielig ist. Dieser Übelstand ist durch eine Regelungseinrichtung gemäß der Erfindung dadurch beseitigt, daß im Zylinder i zu beiden Seiten Einführungsschlitze 2 und Lagerstellen 3 vorgesehen sind, in welche eine Welle q. eingeführt und lose drehbar gelagert ist. Die Welle 4. trägt eine dem Zylinderinnern angepaßte abschließende Platte 5, die seitlich .auf einer im Zylinder i ausgebeulten Nocke 6 ruht. Außerhalb des Zylinders i ist an der Welle q. ein Knopf 7 befestigt, mittels welchem die Welle und somit die Platte 5 beliebig gedreht werden kann, um j e nach Gasdruckänderung die Luftzufuhr zum Glühstrumpf genau zu bestimmen. Damit nun die Platte in der einmal eingestellten Lage verharrt, ist zwischen den Knopf 7 und den Zylinder i eine Sicherungsfeder 8 gebracht, welche eine selbständige Drehung der Welle verhindert. Bei dieser neuen Bauart des Reglers ist ein- Springen der Zylinder unmÖglich, da die Dehnungsfähigkeit des letzteren in keiner Weise beeinflußt wird.
