Verfahren zur Wiedergewinnung der in imprägniertem Holz enthaltenen Konservierungsmittel. Die im Betriebe verbrauchten imprägnierten Althölzer enthalten neben den ihnen von Natur zukommenden Bestandteilen, wie Terpentinöl, Harz u. dgl: Imprägnierungsmittel, z. B. öle, Harzbestandteile usw. Diese im Holz enthaltenen wertvollen Bestandteile können durch fraktionierte Destillation wiedergewonnen werden, wobei auch die üblichen Produkte der Holzdestillation, wie Holzgeist, Essigsäure und Holzkohle, mitgewonnen werden.Process for the recovery of that contained in impregnated wood Preservatives. Die große regelmäßig zur Verfügung stehende Menge gerade dieser Ausgangsstoffe ermöglicht nun ihre technische und volkswirtschaftliche Ausnutzung nach dem neuen Verfahren. Die Durchführung des neuen Verfahrens kann sich beispielsweise so abspielen, daß Eisenbahnschwellen in geschlossener Retorte durch allmähliches Destillieren mit immer zunehmenden Hitzegraden nacheinander von dem Gehalt an Essigsäure, Holzgeist, Anthrazenöl oder Kreosotöl und Teeröl oder Mineralimprägnierungsmittel befreit werden, ohne daß im einzelnen ' besondere Abweichungen von dem üblichen Destillierverfahren erforderlich sind.
