Zusatz zum Patent 393546 Die Erfindung bezweckt die weitere Aushildung des durch das Patent 393546 geschützten Verfahrens zur Herstellung eines Brikettbindemittels aus Säureharzen oder Rückständen, die hauptsächlich aus Säureharzen bestehen. Die nach .diesem Verfahren erhaltenen Erzeugnisse haben im wesentlichen den Charakter von Asphalten und ähnlichen hochkomplizierten Kondensationserzeugnissen ,und sind daher oft schwer oder nur unter Zersetzung und Verkokung schmelzbar. Es hat sich nun gezeigt, daß leichter schmelzbare, pechartige Massen erhalten werden können, wenn man den Säureharzen u. dgl. vor, während oder nach der in dem Hauptpatent gekennzeichneten Behandlung wenige Hundertteile Steinkohlenteer, Dickteer, Rohnaphthalin, Anthrazenöl, ROhanthrazen-Preßkuchien u. dgl. zusetzt. Der Schmelzpunkt läßt sich .durch die Wahl des Zusatzes oder auch durch Al>destillieren von flüchtigen Anteilen aus diesem beliebig regeln.Process for the production of a binder.
