Description
DEUTSCHESGERMAN
The invention relates to an insulating oil based on a refined mineral oil with an addition of 0.1 to 10 percent by weight (based on the oil base) of one by cracking, catalytic hydrogenation or Alkylation obtained, a lower average molecular weight than the oil base and a boiling range from 160 'to 350 ° C with a main boiling range above 200 ° C having petroleum-hydrocarbon mixture according to patent application O 4256 IVc / 23c, and consists in the fact that this addition is more than 20 percent by volume, preferably more than 50 percent by volume, monocyclic aromatics, the aromatics on parts are enriched in a known manner in addition.
It has been found that the desired effect with regard to gas uptake, improvement of the aging resistance and the loss factor is particularly favorable if the addition of this petroleum-hydrocarbon mixture has a high content of monocyclic aromatics. It was found that a concentration of these monocyclic aromatics from any of the aromatic-containing starting materials mentioned leads to products whose effectiveness increases in parallel with the content of monocyclic aromatics. The concentration of these aromatics is to be carried out in a known manner, e.g. B. by extraction with SO 2 , by extraction with diethylene glycol or by another known method. The effectiveness of these monoeyclic aromatics is not subject to any further restrictions with regard to the boiling range, other than that this boiling range is already specified in the main patent application, i.e. that the additive enriched with monoeyclic aromatics also has a boiling range between 160 and 350 ° C with a main boiling range of 200 ° C must own. If the fraction obtained through the aromatic enrichment does not correspond to this boiling range, a fraction in the boiling range between 160 and 350 ° C with a main boiling range of 200 ° C is cut out.
Of the high molecular weight known from British patents 589 149 and 589 150 The aromatic-rich hydrocarbon mixture according to the invention differs both from aromatics with regard to the amount as well as with regard to the molecular weight and the boiling range.
The subject of an earlier patent is a process for producing an electrical insulating oil from an aromatic extract of a mineral oil distillate blended with a low-aromatic raffinate oil. A boiling limit for aromatics is not specified.

In order to obtain the same gas uptake curve as is produced by adding 1.5 percent by weight of a conventional fraction from the platform gasoline, you only need 0.7 percent by weight of this aromatic-rich gasoline, whose boiling point is 160 to 350 ° C with a main boiling range of 200 ° C are added, wherein the loss factor of 0.21 x 10- 3 to 0.1 x lO ^ was lowered. 3
