Claims (12)

1. Modul für Abgasanlagen von Verbrennungsmotoren mit Benzin-Direkteinspritzung, im wesentlichen umfassend:
  • 1. einen Speicherkatalysator (10) mit Eingangskonus (11)
  • 2. und einen Abgaskühler (20) vor dem Speicherkatalysator (10),
  • 3. der Abgaskühler (20) umfasst eine Mehrzahl paralleler Rohre (21.1, 21.2, 21.3), gekennzeichnet durch die Merkmale:
  • 4. die Enden der Rohre (21.1, 21.2, 21.3) sind beidseitig
  • 5. zu einem Rohrvielfach (22.1, 22.2) zusammengeführt,
  • 6. so verformt, dass sie sich flächig berühren
  • 7. und gasdicht verschweißt,
  • 8. die Außenkontur des Rohrvielfachs (22.1, 22.2) ist so geformt, dass eine gasdichte Verbindung zu den anschließenden Elementen (11, 13) herstellbar ist.
2. Modul nach Anspruch 1, gekennzeichnet durch das Merkmal:
  • 1. die sich berührenden Rohrflächen sind zur Verlängerung der Schweißnaht parabelförmig ausgeführt.
3. Modul nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, gekennzeichnet durch die Merkmale:
  • 1. die Rohre (21.1, 21.2, 21.3) besitzen
  • 2. unterschiedliche Längen
  • 3. und/oder unterschiedliche Querschnitte.

  • 1. das freie Ende des Eingangskonus (11) umschließt das Rohrvielfach (22.2) gasdicht.

  • 1. ein Gehäuse (1) umgibt die Rohre (21.1, 21.2, 21.3),
  • 2. das Gehäuse (1) besitzt Zu- und Ableitungsanschlüsse (2, 3) für ein Kühlmittel,
  • 3. in die Anschlüsse (2, 3) ist ein Stellglied (4) zur Regulierung des Kühlmittels eingesetzt.
