I-,I-,
It is common practice to build air conditioning systems in a modular way in order to be able to adapt to different requirements. Modular systems are easier to prefabricate, transport and assemble at the installation site. The individual modules require a precisely coordinated frame construction with high stability and torsional rigidity. They are made up of profiles, cladding panels, hat profiles, doors and similar metal parts. Temperature differences occur during operation on the parts located between the outside and inside of the modules, which lead to condensate or condensation. For this reason, it is known from DE 297 12 751 U1, for example, to insert insulating materials at the transition points or transition surfaces. In order to be able to manufacture efficiently, parts used, such as profiles, must be prefabricated. Profiles that are already provided with insulation are expensive and since waste cannot be avoided when using these profiles, their use in assembling the modules becomes even more expensive.
Es besteht daher die Aufgabe, statt mit Werkstoffkombinationen durch einfache und kostengünstige Gestaltungsmaßnahmen Wärmeübergänge zu vermeiden oder aufThe task is therefore to avoid heat transfers through simple and cost-effective design measures instead of using material combinations or to
ein tolerierbares Maß zu mindern.to a tolerable level.
According to the invention, the solution generally consists in influencing the paths for heat flow in the parts that are exposed to temperature differences between the inside and outside. The influence can be achieved by arranging slots in corner profiles that are offset from one another, so that the heat flow has to take a longer path through the metal and can only pass between the slots over small cross-sectional areas. The same solution idea of leaving only small and very small cross-sectional areas for the heat flow from the inside to the outside can also be implemented for surface elements such as covers or doors, in which the inner and outer panels of these elements are not connected at their edges, but only by point-shaped connections arranged at a large distance from one another, and these are also kept at a distance from the edges. A previous prejudice that the parts used should not be weakened in cross-section due to the above-mentioned requirement for high stability and torsional rigidity has been refuted by practical tests with the features according to the invention. The new measures have a positive effect on the heat transfer measurements to the required extent without having to accept any loss of strength.

Figure 1 shows a schematic perspective view of a housing 10 of an air conditioning module. Together with other prefabricated modules, they can be transported to the installation site and assembled there to form an air conditioning system. The housings 10 must be suitable for pre-assembly, transport and assembly. In addition to these mechanical requirements, thermal conditions must also be taken into account; in particular, the heat difference that occurs between the inside and outside during operation of the air conditioning system must not have any harmful consequences; for example, no condensate or condensation must occur, which would cause corrosion problems.
Ein Eckprofil 12 besteht aus einem kastenförmigen Hohlprofil mit zwei nach außen gerichteten längs verlaufenden Flächen 22 und nach innen gerichteten anschließenden Flächen 24 (siehe oben links in Fig.2).Figure 2 shows a schematic exploded view of an embodiment of how the above problem is taken into account according to the invention. The longitudinal and side edges of a housing 10 consist of corner profiles 12. A normal rectangular housing 10 has twelve corner profiles 12, which are connected to one another by eight corner connectors 14 and thus form a frame. Between each four corner profiles 12 lying in one plane, floor or cover plates 16 are inserted at the top and bottom and wall panels 18 or doors 20 or outer walls of inserts not shown here are inserted at the sides. If, due to the function of a module located in the housing 10, several divided panels 16, 18 are inserted next to doors 20 or slide-in rear walls instead of a continuous wall (18) or cover panel 16, intermediate elements form transitions 30, whereby these transitions 30 are constructed according to the principles of the corner profiles 12 or the panels 16 or 18 explained in more detail below, so that these transitions 30 are not shown in more detail here. A corner profile 12 consists of a box-shaped hollow profile with two outward-facing longitudinal surfaces 22 and inward-facing adjoining surfaces 24 (see top left in Fig. 2).
The operation of the air conditioning creates a heat difference between the indoor
In this case, heat flows through all metal housing parts. According to the invention, in addition to conventional measures, this heat flow is to be inhibited by extending the metal paths and by forcing it to pass through metal constrictions. In the corner profile 12, for example, this is done by the slots 28 and their arrangement in the corner profile 12.
Figure 4 shows one of many possible embodiments of how the heat path through a corner profile 12 on the inward-facing surfaces 24 can be practically implemented. According to this detailed illustration in Fig. 4, rows 26 of slots 28 are offset from one another on the inward-facing surface. In this example, the width of all rows 26 of slots is approximately half the width b of the inner surface 24. The rows of slots 26 are spaced apart from one another by a distance a which is between 8 and 10%, preferably 9% of the width b. The slots 28 themselves have an opening width ϳ which is between 5 and 7%, preferably 6% of the width b. The length I of the slots 28 can be 1.2 to 2 times the width b and they are each offset by half their length I compared to the slots 28 of the adjacent rows 26, with a distance d between two slots 28 in a row 26 that is 12 to 15%, preferably 14% of the width b. The number of rows 26, the distances a, the length I and the distances d can be changed in a modified example. The opening width &ogr; is not critical in any case for fulfilling the task set here.
The only essential feature of the invention is that the path P1 for the heat flow is extended compared to a direct path P2 through the material. In the example shown in Figure 4, the path P1 is five times as long as the path P2 and the area through which the heat flows is 93% larger on the path P1 than on the path P2. The desired heat flow resistance is correspondingly high, namely such that in this element of the inner surface 24 alone, less than 10% of the incoming heat passes further outwards along this path.
Die Eckverbinder 14 (Fig.2) werden in das Hohlprofil der Eckprofile 12 mit ihren Laschen 32 eingesteckt, wobei die Laschen 32 lediglich mit den Außenflächen 22 derThe corner connectors 14 (Fig.2) are inserted into the hollow profile of the corner profiles 12 with their tabs 32, whereby the tabs 32 only contact the outer surfaces 22 of the
Eckprofile in Berührung kommen.Corner profiles come into contact.
The inner surfaces 24 of the corner profiles 12 have extensions 40 which project inwards over the cross-section of the hollow profile and which, as can be seen from Figure 3, serve to connect cover and base plates 16 and the wall panels 18 and doors 20 or outer walls of drawers by attaching a seal 50. Figure 3 is a sectional view along the section line 3 1 - 3' in Figure 1. A corner profile 12 is shown in section as an example to illustrate that the principle of extending the heat flow or transferring it across narrow points is consistently maintained in the wall panels 18 or similar surface parts and in their connections with the corner profiles 12.
The wall panels 18 consist of inner surfaces 42 and outer surfaces 44 which are separated from one another and kept at a distance, between which additional insulating material 48 can be inserted in the usual way. Only the inner surfaces 42 are connected to the extensions 40 in a sealed manner by seals 50. The connection to the outer surface 44 which is kept at a distance is made via point connections 46 which are also kept at a distance from one another, whereby the heat flow is also guided here via narrow points. At the same time, the prejudice that these point connections 46 or the slots 28 would impair the mechanical stability is overcome. Tests have shown that the heat transfer can be significantly reduced with the same stability.
The distance between the point connections 46 corresponds at least to the width b of the inner surface, but can also be a multiple thereof, as is illustrated in Fig. 5, which is a schematic view from below of a wall plate 18 representative of all other surface elements used in the housing 10.
