Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zum Reinigen von zahnärztlichen Werkzeugen in einer Umlauftrommel unter Benutzung von Putzmitteln, wie z. B. Feilspänen mit Sodalösung. Während bei einer bekannten Einrichtung die Werkzeuge ohne weiteres kreuz und quer in das Putzmittel eingebettet werden, wobei bei der Feinheit der Werkzeuge durch Gegeneinanderstoßen derselben eine Beschädigung der Arbeitskanten eintreten kann, wird beim Erfindungsgegenstand ein geordnetes Umlagern der Werkzeuge im Putzmittel in der Umlauftrommel mit Hilfe von zerlegbaren Rollkäfigen bewirkt, in denen die Werkzeuge durch einander entsprechende Löcher mehrerer Tragscheiben hindurch'gesteckt sind und in der Umlauf trommel beim Abrollen in gegenseitigem Abstand voneinander gehalten werden. Dadurch werden die zu reinigenden Werkzeuge nicht nur vor gegenseitiger Berührung bewahrt, sondern jedes einzelne Werkzeug wird allseitig vom Putzmittel eingehüllt bzw. bestrichen und daher gründlicher bearbeitet.
