Description
The invention relates to a two-needle or multiple-needle sewing machine for producing decorative seams after Generic term of the claim.
From DE-OS 25 13 179 is a sewing machine with disengageable needle bars according to the preamble of claim known whose main shaft is driven by a positioning drive and in the vicinity of the change of direction area, e.g. B. in the vicinity of a corner occurring in the course of the seam, a needle bar is uncoupled by means of a preselectable key programmer and the sewing machine is switched to low sewing speed. The well-known sewing machine is not able to position the corner point for the change of direction occurring in the course of the seam in a quick and easy way so that said Corner point has almost the same distances from both of the sewing material edges adjacent to it.
The invention specified in the claim is based on the object of designing a two-needle or multiple-needle sewing machine so that it is quick and easy Way, a compensation table can be made in the corner point area, the stitch length of which is dimensioned in such a way that that the corner point has almost the same distances from the two edges of the sewing material adjacent to it. With the multi-needle sewing machine according to the invention, it is now possible to do the previously only very time-consuming and so-called corner sewing carried out in an extremely cumbersome manner with an exactly positioned corner point now to be carried out quickly, easily and correctly.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wird anhand der F i g. 1 bis F i g. 8 erläutert. Es zeigtAn embodiment of the invention is based on the F i g. 1 to F i g. 8 explained. It shows

With the reference number 1, a multiple needle sewing machine - hereinafter referred to as sewing machine 1 - for the production of decorative seams with a known positioning drive and two switchable drive speeds, which - as shown in FIG. 5 can be seen - A two-needle sewing machine with optionally individually detachable needle bars 3, 3 'of known design is F i g. 1 to 3 show the presser foot 4 and respectively a needle 2 or 2 'of the sewing machine 1 in the various previously known needle or presser foot positions for the various work phases Sew. Fig. 1 shows the presser foot 4 in the lifted position and the needle 2 in the needle up position for the Insertion of a sewn part or to remove the sewn part. Fig.2 shows the needle 2 in Needle depression; the presser foot is still lowered onto the sewing part 9, as is customary in sewing this needle position is the sewing machine 1 for turning the sewing part 9 at a corner point in Seam course stopped. In order to be able to turn the sewing part 9 around the needle 2, the presser foot must be lifted will. The combination of “presser foot 4 lifted” and “needle 2 in needle down position” is shown in FIG. 3. F i g. 4 shows the presser foot 4 and the needle 2 in new, between their previously shown end positions (F i g. 1 to 3) located intermediate positions; here the needle 2 is about one millimeter above the tip Top of the sewing part 9, while the presser foot 4 «5 is just lifted so far that the sewing part 9 is free lets turn. To adjust the presser foot 4 and the needle 2 in the intermediate positions - on the presser foot »Correction position«, called »targeting position« for the needle - act on the needle bar 3 as well as on the Presser foot rod 5 an adjustment means to be explained in more detail, which by the actuation of the in Fig.5 visible, located in the immediate grip area of the seamstress 6 in the described below Way are activated.
In den Punkten O (außen) sowie O' (innen) wird die Nähmaschine 1 in Nadeltiefstellung gestoppt, und die Nadel 2' (innen) durch Abkuppeln der Nadelstange 3' abgeschaltet.F i g. 6 shows a seam pattern for sewing the corner of a sewing part 9, with the aid of which the design of the sewing machine 1 according to the invention is to be explained. The needles 2, 2 '(Fig. 5) of this sewing machine, in cooperation with a lock-stitch gripper of conventional design, not shown, sew a double seam at an appropriate distance from the edge of the angular sewing part 9 and the stitches initially executed as normal stitches (stitches with a predetermined stitch length) approach each other in the sewing direction (arrow NR 1) of the corner of the sewing part 9. At points O (outside) and O ' (inside) the sewing machine 1 is stopped in the needle down position, and the needle 2' (inside) is switched off by uncoupling the needle bar 3 '.
From point 1, the needle 2 is brought into the aiming position so that the seamstress is able to "aim" at the corner point EP , dk, to determine the latter by eye so that it is almost identical to the two adjacent outer edges: of the sewing part 9 For such an aiming process, neither the usual needle up or needle down position, which make it difficult to estimate by eye, is usable. Likewise, the presser foot 4 in the lifted position (FIG. 3) would make it difficult or even prevent the view of the point of the sewing part 9 located before the last normal stitch “CM”. For this reason, the presser foot 4 is also brought into the correction position. It is now possible to sew a compensating stitch AS 1 perfectly, which must be shorter than the previous standard stitch. After targeting the probable puncture point of the needle 2, the sewing part 9 is shifted by hand so that the puncture point envisaged is exactly below the needle 2. the needle 2 is still in the targeting position during this displacement of the sewing part 9. The needle 2 therefore does not hinder the shifting process. Now the puncture takes place in the corner point EP, about which the sewing part 9 is rotated with the needle 2 positioned in the lower position according to the angle occurring in the course of the seam. Now there is another normal stitch »2-3« in the new sewing direction (arrow NR2). The needle 2 is positioned again in the needle down position. The previously switched off needle 2 '(inside) is now switched on again. Subsequently, a compensating stitch AS 2 is sewn again in a manner similar to the compensating stitch ASi. For this purpose, both needles are brought into the targeting position by pressing the button 6 and, after stopping the drive, the presser foot 4 is brought into the correction position. During the following locating process, the sewing part 9 is shifted by hand by the seamstress in such a way that the needle 2 '(inside) pierces the inner corner point 4' and the needle 2 pierces point 4. As a result, the inner needle 2 'forms the stitch "O'-4'". By operating an operating element, e.g. B. a pedal in the forward direction, this stitch is executed and the other normal stitches sewn in sewing direction NR 2 to the next corner. Other combinations of normal and leveling stitches are also possible; so can z. B. with a smaller stitch length, but similar distance ratios between the outer edge of the sewing part on the one hand and the outer seam or inner seam on the other hand, after stitch O (inside and outside) two more normal stitches are necessary until a compensating stitch ASi is to be sewn. There are also other possible arrangements for the compensation stitches than in this example. F i g. 7 shows a pneumatically operated presser foot adjusting device which moves the presser foot 4 into the end positions. However, it also causes it to be locked in an intermediate position, the correction position (FIG. 4). The horizontally arranged retaining block 10 comprises the vertical compressed air cylinder 20, whose in FIG. 7 pushes the only partially extended piston rod 22 against the underside of the stop tab 15 of the two-armed pivot lever 12. The latter is pivotably mounted about the axis 14. The axis 14 is firmly attached to the arm 24 of the sewing machine 1; This also applies to the retaining clip 10, which is also firmly connected to the arm 24 by means of screws 16 and 17. A second, vertically directed retaining clip 11 of the same design as the retaining clip 10 is screwed onto the left end of the retaining clip 10 and another compressed air cylinder 21 is screwed on
Befindet sich die Kolbenstange 23 in ausgefahrener Stellung (F i g. 7), so kann der Drückerfuß 4 deshalb nicht in seine obere Endstellung gelangen, weil die Kolbenstange 23 die Oberkante der Anschlaglasche 15 des Schwenkhebels 12 überragt und die weitere Verschwenkbewegung des Schwenkhebels 12 im Uhrzeigersinn verhindert.to hold Whose extending piston rod 23 can be in the path of movement of the upward pivoting Enter stop tab 15 (FIG. 7), provided that the stop tab 15 is still below the plane of movement of this piston rod 23 Compressed air cylinders 20 and 21 are inserted into the retaining clamps 10 and 21 by means of the clamping screws 18 and 19, respectively. II clamped The compressed air cylinder 20 is the actual working cylinder for the presser foot 4, its Presser foot bar 5 (Fig. 1 - 5) with the swivel lever 12 via the connecting rod 13 and via other, not shown lever of a linkage is connected in a known manner by extending the piston rod 22, the pivot lever 12 is pivoted clockwise and the presser foot 4 is released When the compressed air cylinder 21 is not actuated, the latter reaches its piston rod 23 its upper end position is now not extended (FIGS. 1, 3). The piston rod is located 23 in extended position (FIG. 7), the presser foot 4 cannot reach its upper end position because the piston rod 23 protrudes beyond the upper edge of the stop tab 15 of the pivot lever 12 and the other Pivoting movement of the pivot lever 12 in the clockwise direction is prevented.
Hiermit ist die Korrekturposition des Drückerfußes 4 vorgewählt und der sich zuvor in unterer Endstellung befindlicheIt turns out that in the F i g. 4, 5, a correction position in which - as already explained - a displacement of the sewing part 9 is possible. The retraction of the piston rod 22 causes the pivot lever 12 to rotate counterclockwise and the presser foot 4 now reaches its lower end position (FIG. 2), in which it rests on the sewing part 9 with a force fit. When pressing the button 6 (Fig. 5), which happens before the sewing of the compensating stitches AS 1 and AS 2 , the needle 2 - as will be described in more detail - is moved into the targeting position (Fig. 4, 5) and the Compressed air cylinder 21 is applied, whereupon the piston rod 23 extends. This preselects the correction position of the presser foot 4 and that which was previously in the lower end position
In diesem Beispiel werden für einen solchen Antrieb Halleffekt-Sensoren verwendet.so presser foot 4 is operated by another operating means - Pedal or knee lever - brought into said correction position in which the piston rod 22 of the Pneumatic cylinder 20 extends. However, the extension of the piston rod 22 is only possible as far as this the also extended piston rod 23 allows. Other adjustment means for the presser foot 4 are in Within the scope of the invention, e.g. B. possible by an electromagnetic presser foot adjustment device, which is for the Adjustment of the correction position has a corresponding intermediate position. Then a Adjusting means for the needle described. A known per se is usually used for adjusting the needle Positioning drive. In this example, Hall effect sensors are used for such a drive.
Die Hauptwelle 8 der Nähmaschine 1 treibt bekanntlich deren Stichbil-F i g. 8 shows the basic elements of the positioning drive with a view of the stand of the sewing machine 1 with the handwheel removed. dewerkzeuge, also auch die Nadel 2 bzw. 2', an. Stopping a needle or both needles in a predetermined needle end position is possible by detecting a corresponding angular position of the main shaft 8 by means of the positioning drive. The main shaft 8 rotates the disc 25 counterclockwise. On the disk 25 the magnets 27, 28 and the sensor 29 (also a magnet) are arranged, which are moved for the purpose of their adjustment in the relevant slots 30 or 31 and can be fixed in position with conventional clamping means. The magnets 27 and 28 are arranged with opposite polarity to each other and can accordingly be distinguished by a Hall generator HG, which is arranged stationary in the disk circumferential area, as they pass the same according to their different degree positions, so that the magnet 27 effects the needle positioning in the needle down position, while the magnet 28 the positioning of the needle 2 or the needles in the needle up position triggers As shown in FIG. 8, the angular position of the magnet 27 is designated as the reference position for the magnet 28 and the sensor 29 as 0 °. Magnet 28 is around 240 ° according to FIG and probes are numbered by 280 ° from 0 ° corresponding to 29 the angular positions of the magnets 27,28 and the sensor 29 indicates according to their order with functional position FS 1 to FS 3, the Hall generator HG is - as is known - a semiconductor die to the four terminals 32 , 33, 34, 35 for the supply of a control current and discharge of the self adjusting Hall voltage, which triggers control signals for stopping the needle in a predetermined position - high or low - by known means. The Hall generator HG is arranged on a suitable holder, not shown, in front of the disk 25 (FIG. 8, right), so that the magnets 27 and 28 on the disk 25 pass the Hall generator HG and, when passing, generate a Hall voltage for preselecting the needle end position - as is known. For locking the needle 2 or 2 'in its targeting position, i. The feeler 29 is provided about 1 mm above the sewing part 9. The distinction between the magnet 28, which is arranged with the same polarity, and the sensor 29 are made by the Hall generator HG using conventional electronic means, e.g. B. by a pulse counter that detects the order of passage at HG The magnet 28 which first passes the Hall generator HG with the south pole directed towards the Hall generator HG , so accordingly triggers the stopping of the needle in the needle up position, while the magnet 29 passing thereafter Locking the needle in the bearing position causes.
Voraussetzung ist dafür jedoch, daß neben denOf course, other positioning drives can also be used that operate according to other working principles, z. B. operate with optoelectronic means. The prerequisite for this, however, is that in addition to the
ίο bekannten beiden Endstellungen der Nadel/Nadeln auch eine Anpeilposition vorgesehen sein muß.ίο known two end positions of the needle / needles an aiming position must also be provided.
genutzt werdeaA stitch counter can be assigned to the positioning drive so that further work processes to relieve the approximation run largely automatically. So z. B. after reaching the stitches O and O ' (outer and inner seam; Fig. 6) and switching off the needle 2' for the inner seam, the next normal stitch "CM" or, if necessary, several normal stitches before the compensating stitch ASl automatically by means of the stitch counter 7 to be sewn. The sewing machine 1 is then stopped. After the previously described displacement of the sewing part 9 for the purpose of exact positioning of the puncture point in the corner, the compensating stitch AS1 can be sewn. In addition, a further partial automation is possible under certain circumstances, in that the normal stitches up to O (outside) and O ' (inside) (FIG. 6) and also other normal stitch lengths are sewn with the aid of the stitch counter 7, so that the seamstress can essentially only the sewing of the compensating stitches AS1 and AS2 and the turning of the sewing part 9 around the corner point EP has to be carried out. Due to the inventive design of the sewing machine 1, the necessary steps in the so-called corner sewing are made much easier. B. the exact determination of the corner point is possible. The sewing machine 1 designed according to the invention is not limited to a two-needle machine design.
The invention makes it possible, with relatively little effort, to facilitate a frequently occurring sewing process, using already existing devices of the sewing machine, in particular the positioning drive
