The invention relates to a dismountable partition wall construction, to parts therefor and to a method for manufacturing such parts, and relates in particular to a Partition wall construction composed of units made of components that can be produced in a simple manner, which effortlessly with the most varied of head and foot constructions to free-standing or continuous partition walls can be assembled and thereby offer the possibility of hanging any additional devices on such walls.
Partition wall constructions implemented in modular systems, have so far been carried out in individual cases depending on an existing need, so that there are now many not there are components and additional parts that can be combined with one another. For example, free-standing partition walls usually have to be Other requirements than partition walls that go up to the ceiling are sufficient, which is why they are made using different methods are manufactured and require other support equipment. The components are often of the same design executed, but they usually have different shapes and are made using special brackets, Supports etc. mounted in a special way, although the function of a structural element is identical to that of a other can be.
Die Verbindungselemente können in senkrechten Abständen angeordnete Schlitze zum Aufhängen irgend-The assembly of such well-known components, such as wall panels, to a partition requires the use of fasteners such as supports and the like. As the Plates are usually designed so that they butt against each other. The connecting elements can be in vertical Spaced slots for hanging any

welcher Hilfseinrichtungen aufweisen. A connecting element commonly used for such wall panels is a U-shaped support that can be inserted into grooves near the abutting edges of two panels. The pillars Adjacent edges are connected to a rigid structure by means of fastening elements. The provision and attachment of the U-shaped supports, however, adds significantly to the cost of a wall construction.
An example of a free-standing partition wall construction with hanging options for auxiliary equipment is. in the DB-PS 3 886 698 of the applicant described. The wall panels used in such a wall construction have reinforced webs on their vertical edges with slots for hanging up at intervals one above the other of auxiliary equipment. The reinforced webs have to be shaped in a complex manner by means of bending presses or extruded in the form of special supports to provide the necessary strength as well as the exact alignment of the slots. It is not possible to form the webs by rolling, so in a process, in which the tolerances are less tight and the manufacturing capacity is considerably greater.
Another disadvantage of known constructions of the type mentioned is that the large number in one another parts to match the erection of the partition walls. The use of fasteners or conscience Types of connecting wedges often requires the prior removal of plates or protective caps and is therefore very time consuming. Also, removing and reattaching such parts can damage the surfaces especially if tools such as screwdrivers or the like are used for this purpose. Examples of partition wall constructions with such supports and connecting wedges are in US Patents 5,120,031 or

The invention creates a separable partition wall structure. tion from a family of components that can be combined with one another in terms of their design and puncture, which have a simple IOrm, are available in only a few different versions and are without Difficulty assembling a variety of free-standing or ceiling-reaching partition walls.
The wall construction according to the invention is characterized by wall panels which can be dismantled and which are arranged opposite one another Peel. Each bowl is angled inward along the vertical edges and then doubled folded, so that a vertical, inwardly offset, J-shaped web is formed on which an outwardly angled edge adjoins it, which serves to close two shells placed next to one another associate. The juxtaposed edges are fastened by fasteners held together. The wall panels assembled in this way, reinforced along the edges can be assembled to form free-standing or ceiling dividing walls. The different Components according to the invention each have at least one edge shaped in this way, so that the components with their edges closed! Partition walls of the most varied of sizes can be assembled.
Der Rand wird dannThe inwardly offset, J-shaped webs of the shells that can be assembled to form wall panels each have one Number of superimposed slots for hanging any auxiliary equipment. In one Method according to the invention for producing these shells are initially two rows of slots Shaped parallel to each other along the edges of a sheet metal blank, with the slots in a row bigger 'than the others. The edge will then

Eine genaue Ausrichtung der Schlitze relativ zueinander ist daher nicht notwendig.deformed by rolling and folded to double thickness, like this that the smaller slots of one row each over some part of the larger slots of the other row come to rest. Accurate alignment of the slots relative to each other is therefore not necessary.
In another embodiment of the invention, a dismountable wall panel on opposing shells, which each inwardly angled vertical side strips and have upwardly angled edges by means of which the opposing shells interlock are connectable. Separately manufactured, vertical connecting elements have a channel profile in the middle for holding the edges of two bowls in order to connect them together. The connecting elements also have Edge profiles in the form of J-shaped webs protruding from the inwardly angled side strips of the shells, which can have superimposed slots for hanging any auxiliary equipment. The angled Side strips and edges together with the connecting elements form reinforced edges of the wall panels, which with edges of the same type as well as with the edges of the wall panels described as the first embodiment can be combined. Thus, the wall panels of both embodiments are together in a given wall construction usable.
Seitlich des Rinnenprofils steht wenigstens ein flexibler Rand hervor, welcher bis nahe an den einwärts abgewinkelten Randstreifen der tje\tfeiligen Wandplatte heranreicht oder sich in abdichtender Anlage daran befindet, um die Reihe derAccording to a further feature of the invention, the opposing J-shaped webs on the edges of two wall panels can be connected to one another by means of a connecting strip made of plastic. The bar has a channel profile in the middle, which engages around the opposing webs and holds them together. Side of the channel profile is produced at least one flexible edge, which is to close to the inwardly angled edge strips of each t \ tfeiligen wall panel zoom reaches or is in sealing engagement thereto to the series of

The connecting bar can be a combined extrudate in which the plastic in the edges is more flexible than that used for the gutter profile.
It is thus an object of the invention to be modular to create executed partition wall construction, which from relatively few, easy to manufacture, together building elements that can be combined and effortlessly put together to form partitions in the most varied of shapes is constructed.

Wie man in Fig. 5 erkennt, sind die Verbindungsstege 28 nahe den Klemmen 30 eingeschnitten und die dadurch entstehenden Laschen 35 sind auswärts umgelegt,In each case two shells 11 of the type described are with their, open: sides put together, so that the v "er am— extension webs 28 abut one another. The adjacent Connecting webs 28 are then by means of suitable fastening elements, for example elongated clamps 30, of which one on the right side of the wall plate 10 in Jig. is shown connected to each other. The roughly U-shaped Clamps 30 encompass the two adjacent connecting webs 28 and hold them tight together. Auch die dargestellten Klemmen können mittels Befestigungselementen anstatt durch Verformung der Verbindungsstege befestigt werden.so that they grip over the edges 32 of the clamp and this thereby, hold on. From the shape of the edge areas 14- of the shells 11 and the Type of their attachment to each other result on the plate opposite edges 29, which a have high strength and alone or in conjunction with additional supports as load-bearing construction elements are usable. The wall plate 10 is therefore optionally alone or in conjunction with other load-bearing parts, like supports and the like, for both continuous and Can be used for self-supporting partition walls, as explained in detail in the further description.
DieA blank shown in Fig. 1 for a shell 11 has in the opposite edge areas 14 shaped, inner and outer parallel rows of mutually longitudinally spaced slots 36 and 37 respectively Slots 37 of the outer rows are larger than those of the inner. As can be seen from Fig. 1, the inner need Side walls 26 and the connecting bars 28 do not extend over the entire length of the shells 11. Preferably receive the shells 11 inwardly angled barren and lower edges 38, 39 for stiffening and for fastening on upper and lower support rails or the like.
In another embodiment shown in FIG a wall plate 40 made of two formed from thin sheet metal Shells 41 composed, which are essentially rectangular and flat, parallel to each other Central surfaces 42 and mutually opposite edge areas 44 have. The cavity between the central surfaces 42 can be filled as described above. The edge regions 44 of the shells 41 are angled inward and form over the entire length of the shells 41 extending sidewalls 45- These are essentially standing perpendicular from the central surface 42 and have at their free edges in. essentially at right angles outwards angled connecting webs 46.
The shells are with their central surfaces 42 in one another Distance arranged so that the connecting webs 46 are in mutual contact. The ridges 46 are then held together by a holding rail 48 extending essentially over the entire height of the shells 41.

Ihre freien Ränder 58 verlaufen in gewissem Abstand zu den Seitenwänden 45 und begrezen jeweils eine Nut 59- In den jeweils den Boden einer Kut 59 bildenden Ansät ζ schenkein 53 ist jeweils eine Reihe von in gegenseitigen Längsabständen angeordneten Schlitzen 60 geformt.which engages around the connecting webs 4-6 and holds them together. At the edges of the channel profile, the retaining rail is angled outwards so that wall parts 50 protruding essentially perpendicular to the legs of the channel profile are produced. After assembly of the plate 40, these are essentially in contact with the side walls 45 of the shells -41 and have outwardly angled webs of approximately J-shaped cross-section on their outer edges. The webs 52 each have an attachment leg 53 , an outer leg 5 ^ - and an edge piece. 55 · The attachment webs 53 are essentially perpendicular from the wall parts 50. The outer webs 5 ^ - protrude outward at the attachment webs. The edge pieces 55 protrude at an angle in the direction of the side walls 45 of the shells 41 on the outer legs 54-. Their free edges 58 run at a certain distance from the side walls 45 and each delimit a groove 59- In each of the openings 53 forming the bottom of a groove 59, a series of slots 60 is formed at mutual longitudinal distances.
The deformed edge areas 44 of the shells 41 form together with the support rails 48 on each side of the Plate 40 has a reinforced edge 61, which on its own or in conjunction with supports or the like. As load-bearing part of a partition construction can be used.
The inwardly offset, J-shaped webs 16, 62 of the wall panels 10 and 40 have the same shape, so that Both versions of the wall panels can be combined with one another in a partition wall construction.
The connection between wall panels 40 of the other embodiment is the same Way feasible, so the following description

Die Stege 16 können dann vorzugsweise an beiden Seiten der Platten 10 mittels Verbindungsleisten 70 miteinander verbunden werden.is also applicable to such. The plates 10 are aligned with each other in such a way that the middle Chen 12 of the shells 11 form the outer wall surfaces. The connecting edges 29 of the plates 10 are mutually exclusive facing so that the outer legs 19 of the J-shaped webs 16 face one another. The webs 16 can then preferably be connected to one another on both sides of the plates 10 by means of connecting strips 70 will.
The connecting strip 70 is preferably an extruded plastic and has an inner profile 71 in the middle, the legs of which have the J-shaped webs 16 over the entire height grab hold of them and hold them together. The inner profile 71 has a base 73 and two inwardly protruding Leg 7 ^ with inwardly angled edges 75 » which extend over the free edges 22 of the J-shaped webs 16. The channel profile 71 is relatively stiff, but flexible enough to attach the connecting strip 70. To attach the connecting strip 70 to the It is attached to the webs 16 at the upper or lower end of the same and then progressively pressed onto the webs 16. The bar has such dimensions that at least two are continuous over the entire height the dividing wall result in lines of contact.
In addition, the strips close the gaps between adjacent. baretn wall panels and are effective as sound insulation.
The connecting strip 70 is preferably a mixed extrudate made of a more flexible plastic for the belts 76 and a stiffer plastic for the channel profile 71 It can be made of a wide variety of materials, such as vinyl resins and one on that of the wall panels or the color of their cladding. Contrasting colors of the partition wall can create a pleasing appearance to lend.
Freestanding partitions, i.e. not from floor to ceiling, can be quite low or but reach almost to the ceiling. Such partitions mostly have nozzles anchored to the floor. they are mostly also narrower than partition walls, which reach up to the ceiling. In many cases, such partitions also support any furnishing accessories such as work surfaces, Closets, shelves, filing racks and the like. For those Partition walls are therefore required very stiff wall panels, which can have the same shape as up to the ceiling continuous wall panels.
Die dargestellten Wandplatten 501, 502 haben die gleiche Form wie die Platte 10 in Fig. 5-Fig. 27 shows a commonly used embodiment of a Support for a partition. The support 500 has a round one Cross-section so that wall panels 501, 502 are arranged in any position relative to the central axis 503 of the support can be. The wall panels are usually attached to the support by means of hooks at the top and bottom. the wall panels 501, 502 shown have the same shape like plate 10 in Fig. 5-

Die verwendeten Wandplatten können in jedem Falle die gleiche Form haben wie die für bis zur Decke durchgehende Trennwände verwendeten.505 has a flat middle piece 506, which is on the J-shaped webs of the respective wall plate is supported. Near the ends of the middle piece there is a leg 50 ?, 508 at an angle of about 45 ° towards the support. To it each includes a radial with respect to the support angled leg, which in an approximately L-shaped Tnigen edge profile 509 runs out, whose shorter leg engages under the respective J-shaped web. The longer leg of the L-shaped profile is characterized by a tapered, flexible tongue 510 extended, which hides the slots of the respective wall panel, but the access to this allows. The cover strip can in turn be a mixed extrudate, which in the individual areas has different properties. The wall panels used can be of the same shape in each case like those used for partition walls that extend up to the ceiling.
Fig. 28 shows the connection of two wall panels 512, 513 of a free-standing partition wall or a partition wall that extends up to the ceiling by means of cover strips 514-, 515 formed from spring steel sheet 518 having leg 517 connects. This then runs out in an edge 519 extending parallel to the front side of the cover strip. Such cover strips are also used in conventional partition wall constructions. They can be fastened in the snap-in seat and can be removed in order to grant access to the central space 520 between the wall panels. In Fig. 28, the two wall panels are held at a mutual distance solely by the cover strips. The wall panels according to the invention can thus also be combined with conventional structural elements.
