Description
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Verpackungsbehälter, insbesondere einen Beutel, mit den Merkmalen gemäß
dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruches 1 sowie ein Verfahren zur ' 'erstellung eines solchen Verpackungsbehälters.
In der DE-OS 24 38 567 ist als Verpackungsbehälter eine Haube beschrieben, die über einen auf einer Palette
befindlichen Gutstapel gezogen unu anschließend durch
Wärmebehandlung und daraus resultierender Schrumpfung an diesen angelegt werden kann. Die Seitenwand
und der Boden der Haube bestehen aus warmschrumpfbarer Kunststoffolie, wobei der Boden unter Zuhilfenahme
von Seitenfaltlinien und durch Abschweißungen gebildet ist.
Es sind weiterhin allgemein bereits Verpackungsbehälter aus Kunststoffolie für unterschiedliches Füllgut
bekannt, z. B. Säcke oder Einkaufs-Tragetaschen. Ein Nachteil dieser bekannten Behälter besteh! darin, daß
diese im gefüllten Zustand keine Slandfähigkeit besitzen und der Boden gegen Beschädigungen von innen und
außen her empfindlich ist. was insbesondere bei pulverförmigem Füllgut nachteilig ist. Man hat zwar
bereits vorgeschlagen, zur Verstärkung des Bod'
derartiger Behälter mehrere Folienlagen vorzusehc ι. was durch entsprechende Faltung bei der Herstellung geschieht, oder den Boden durch Einsetzen eines anderen Materials, z. B. Karton, zu versteifen. Im ersten Fall wird die .Standfähigkeit nicht verbessert, sondern eher verschlechtert, im zweiten Fall bedeutet das Einsetzen des aus Fremdmaterial bestehenden Bodens einen zusätzlichen kostenerzeugenden Herstellungsaufwand.

Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es daher! einen Verpakkungsbehälter
der in der DEOS 24 38 567 beschriebe^ nen Art derart zu gestalten, daß er eitle bessere
Widerstandsfähigkeit gegeri Beschädigungen am Boden und eine bessere Standfähigkeit im gefüllten Zustand
besitzt.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch eine Ausgestaltung gemäß dem Kennzeichen des Päteiitafl·
Spruches 1 gelöst.
Mindestens ein Teil des Bodens, vorteilhafterweise aber der ganze Boden, besteht somit aus einer
warmschrumpfbaren Folie, aus der auch die Seitenwand des Verpackungsbehälters hergestellt ist. Die gewünschte
Versteifung und Erhärtung des Bodens wird nun durch eine Wärmebehandlung erreicht, die zu einer
Schrumpfung des Bodenmaierials führt. Diese Schrumpfung
bewirkt, wie von warmschrumpfbare«! Folien her
bekannt ist, eine Verdichtung und damit eine Ei härtung, ίο ggf. auch eine Verdickung des Kunststoffmaterials,
wodurch die erwünschte höhere Steifigkeit erzielt wird. Zur Herstellung des erfindungsgemäßen Verpakkungsbehälters
wird ein Verfahren vorgeschlagen, das im Kennzeichenteil des Patentanspruches 2 angegeben
ist. Demzufolge wird so vorgegangen, daß an einem endseitig geschlossenen Schlauchabschnitt aus warmschrumpfbarem
Kunststoffmaterial zunächst ein Boden angeformt wird, der sich naturgemäß nur unter
beträchtlicher Falten- oder Runzelbildung erzeugen läßt Dieser Boden wird dann einer Wärmebehandlung,
beispielsweise mittels Heißluft, unterzogen, durch die aufgrund der Schrumpffähigkeit des verwendeten
Materials ein Schrumpfprozeß eintritt, in dessen Verlauf die Falten- oder Runzelbildung zugunsten einer
Verdichtung und ggf. Verdickung des Bodens beseitigt wird. Die Falten enthalten somit vor dem Schrumpfvorgang
das für die Verdichtung oder Verdickung des Bodens benötigte Material, das bei der Bodenausbildung
»aufgebraucht« wird.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wird nachfolgend anhand der Zeichnungen näher erläutert. In den
Zeichnungen zeigt

Warrnschrumpfbares Folienmaterial, das für erfindungsgemäße
Verpackungsbehälter verwendet werden kann, kann Polypropylen. Polyvinylchlorid. Polyäthylen.
Polyester oder ein Laminat solchen Folienmaterials sein. Die Dicke des Materials sollte im Bereich zwischen
0.004 und 0.2 mm liegen. Die Schrumpfung durch Wärme sollte wenigstens 3% betragen.
Der in F ι g. I dargestellte Verpackungsbehälter 1
weist eine zylindrische Seitenwand 2 aus einem weichen warmschrumpfbaren Folienmateriai sowie einen kreisförmigen
Boden 3 auf, der einstückig mit der Seitenwand 2 aus demselben Folienmaienal hergestellt
ist. Die Form des Bodens 3 muß nicht notwendigerweise kreisförmig sein, sondern kann auch rechteckig.
elliptisch, dreieckig oder dgl. gewählt werden.
Der Boden 3 des Behälters ist wesentlich härter und weniger geschmeidig als die Seitenwand 2. da er dicker
und durch Wärmeeinwirkung geschrumpft ist.
Die Herstellung des Behälters 1 erfolgt ausgehend von dem Material gemäß F i g. 2 und nach dem
Verfahren gemäß den F i g. 3a, b.
Ein Fölieri-Schlaüchabschnitt aus warmschrümpfbarerri
Künststoffmaterial, dessen eines Ende zu einem
Ü-förmigen runden Boden 6 durch Schweißen ver* schlossen ist (F i g. 2), wird auf ein Formwerkzeug 20
aufgesetzt, und der runde Boden 6 wird auf die obere Fläche 22 des Formwerkzeuges 20 durch einen nicht
gezeigten Stempel heruntergedrückt, so daß er funzel-
artige Falten wirft (vgl. F i g. 3a). Sodann wird Warmluft
gemäß den Pfeilen 23 auf den faltigen Boden 6 gerichtet, so daß dieser schrumpft (vgl. Fig.3b), Durch diese
Behandlung ist der Boden 3 des fertigen Behälters 1 erheblich steifer als dessen Seitenwand 2, da er dicker
und dichter als die Seitenwand ist, weil in ihm auch das Überschußmaterial aus den Faltungen vorliegt, welche
vor der Wärmeschrumpfung an der Fläche 12 lagen. Weiterhin ist durch die Wärmeschrompfung die
Flexibilität des Materials verringert worden.

Claims (2)
1. Verpackungsbehälter, insbesondere Beutel, dessen Seitenwand und dessen Bocien aus einer Folie
warmschrumpfbaren Kunststoffmaterials gebildet sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der
Boden durch eine Warmschrumpfung im Vergleich zu der Seitenwand steifer ausgebildet ist
2. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Verpackungsbehälters nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß an einem Folienschlauchabschnitt aus warmschrumpfbarem Kunststoffmaterial das eine Ende
unter Ausbildung von Falten zu einem Boden geformt und geschlossen wird und daß anschließend
der Boden derart erwärmt wird, daß eine Schrumpfung unter weitgehender Beseitigung der Falten und
eine Materialversteifung stattfindet
