Die Erfindung betrifft einen Klappsitz für Motorwagen, der beim Niederklappen in die Gebrauchsstellung eine zusammengesetzte Drehbewegung solcher Art ausführt, daß er außer seiner Niederklappbewegung eine seitliche Verlegung erfährt. Das Wesen des neuen Klappsitzes liegt darin, daß sein Gelenk ein Kugelgelenk ist, dessen hohlkugelförmiger Umhüllungsteil einen gekrümmten Führungsschlitz enthält und mit diesem Schlitz die Sitzplatte aus der hochgeklappten Stellung in die versetzte niedergeklappte Lage führt.
