Die Erfindung betrifft ietrametbyldiphoEiÄinometlian der
Formel (CH^)pP-CHp-P(CEU)ρ sowie dessen mögliches Vorprodukt
Li"tfoium3sethy!»dimethyl-phosphin der Formel
LiCH2-P(CH7)ρ als neue chemische Stoffe.
Die Erfindung betrifft ebenso ein Verfahren zur Herstellung
von Lithiummethyl-dimcthyl-phosphin der Formel
LiCHp-P(CH^)ρ, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß
man Lösungen von Trimethylphosphin und Lithiumalkyl in
einem inerten Lösemittel unter Ausschlui3 von Luft und
Feuchtigkeit vereinigt, den ausgefallenen weißen Niederschlag abfiltriert, mit dem inerten Lösemittel wäscht
und trocknet.
Das Verfahren zur Herstellung von Lithiummethyl-dimethylphosphin
kann weiterhin vorzugsweise dadurch gekennzeichnet sein, daß man
a) als inertes Lösemittel aliphatisch^ Kohlenwasserstoffe,
vorzugsweise η-Hexan, Äther oder Amine einsetzt.

b) als Lithiumalkyl sekundäre oder tertiäre Alkyllithiumve
rbindungen, vorzugsweise t-Butyllithium, einsetzt.
c) die Umsetzung bei Temperaturen von -80 bis +1000C vornimmt
.
Die Ei^findung betrifft weiterhin ein Verfahren zur Herstellung
von Tetramethyldiphosphinomethan der Formel
(CH5)2P-CH2-P(CH5)2>
welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß man eine Suspension von Lithiuinmethyl-dimethylphosphin
der Formel LiCH2-P(CH5)2 in einem organischen
Lösemittel unter Rühren mit Dimethylchlorphosphin umsetzt und das Reaktionsgemisch destilliert.
Schließlich betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Tetramethyldiphosphinomethan der Formel
(CH^)2P-CH2-P(CH^)2, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist,
daß man eine Suspension von Dilithiomethan der Formel
Li2CH2 oder Magnesiamethan der Formel MgCH2 in einem organischen
Lösemittel unter R.ühren mit Dimethylchlorphosphin umsetzt und das Reaktionsgemisch destilliert.
Die beiden Verfahren zur Herstellung von Tetramethyldipbosphinomethan
können vorzugsweise dadurch gekennzeichnet sein, daß man
a) als organisches Lösemittel Äther, vorzugsweise Diäthyläther oder Tetrahydrofuran, Amine oder Kohlenwasserstoffe
einsetzt.
b) die Umsetzung bei Temperaturen von -80 bis +1200C
vornimmt.

Bei der beispielsweisen Verwendung von t-Butyllithium als
Lithiumalkyl verlaufen die Ve rf ahrens stufen der Erfindung z. B. nach folgendem Schema:

Geht man stattdessen von Dilithionietlian aus, so stellt
sich das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren zur Herstellung von
Tetramethyldiphosphinomethan z. B-. wie folgt dar:

Die Verbindung (CH3J2PCH2Li ist als funktiorielles Derivat
des (CiL5)^P von ganz allgemeinem synthetischem Interesse»
z. B. auch als Komplexligand oder zur Einführung des (CH3)2PCH2-Restes in anorganische und organische Verbindungen.

Die Verbindung (CH-J2P-CH2-P(CH-O2 ist ein extrem starker
Ligand für Übergangsmetalle und ein starkes Nucleophil.
Seine einfache und doppelte Guaternlerung eröffnet einen wesentlich verbesserten Zugang zu wertvollen Yliden, wie
aus dem nachstehenden Schema hervorgeht (M = Übergangsmetallverbindung,
z. B. des Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Nl, Cu, Zn und ihrer Homologen ι X = Cl, Br, I):

Bei/spiel 1:
(Herste:lung von LiCH2-P(CH3)2)
155 2 g Triroetliy !phosphin (200 rnMol) werden unter trockenem
Stickstoff als inertem Schutzgas bei Raumtemperatur zu 100 ml einer 2-molaren Lösung von t-Butyllithium (12,8 g
= 200 HiMo 1) in Ileyan gegeben. Im Laufe von 8 Stunden bildet
sich ein weißer niederschlag von Lithiummethyl-dimethylphosphin,
der abfiltriert, mit η-Hexan gewaschen und i. Vak. getrocknet wird (12,3 β = 150 mMol - 75 % der
!Theorie). Aus der Restlösung lassen sich durch längeres
Stehenlassen (bis zu 5 Tagen, gegebenenfalls unter leichtem Erwärmen) und gelegentliches Entfernen des ausgefallenen
Niederschlags insgesamt bis zu 15»25 g des Produktes
(93 % der Theorie) erhalten.
Die- vi;ii3e I-Ivisce ist in Tetrahydrofuran löslich und äußerst
reaktiv gegen 11^0, COp, 0-, CS?, Metallhalogenide, Säuren,
Oxydationsiiiitte] , funkt j onelle organische Verbindungen.

Beispiel 2:

10,0 g (122 rnMo 1) Lithium-riiethyl-dimethyl-phosphin aus
Beispiel 1 v/erden in 100 ml Diäthyläther suspendiert.
Unter Rühren und Kühlung mit Eis wird bei 0°C innerhalb
von 30 min. eine Lösung von 9.5 ml Dimethylchlorphosphin
(120.Ü mHol) in 40 ml Diäthylather zugetropft.
Es v/ird 2 Stunden v/eitergerührt, filtriert und das FiL
trat destilliert. Beim Siedepunkt von 42°C/12 mm Hg
destillieren 10,7 g einer farblosen, reaktiven Fluss .Lg kei t über.
Der Schmelzpunkt liegt bei -59° bis -5
Spontane, z, T. heftige Reakcion findet statt mit: Op,
SR, CSp, Metallen und Mc ta 1!verbindungen,organischen Halogenverbindungen
und Sauren. Die Ausbeute an Tetranie bhyldiphosphinomethan
errechnet sich zu 65 % der Theorie.

2,8 g Dilithiomethan (0,1 Hol) werden in 50 ml Tetrahydrofuran
suspendiert und die Mischung auf -700C gekühlt.
Hierzu werden 19,3 g (0,2 Mol) Dime thy]chlorphonrhin
unter Rühren züge tropft. H;>n läßt unter Rühren erwärmen,
rührt noch 1 h und nitriert die Lösung. Dar» FiI-trafc
wird fraktioniert; dabei destillieren bei 420C/
10 mm II·^ 10,6 g einer farblo.'jen Flüssigkeit. Die Ausbeute
an Te trame thyldiphosphinoiiie than errechnet sich zu 78 %
der Theorie.

Claims (1)
- HOE 76/H 068 Patentansprüche:1); Te traiaethyl dipho sphinome than der FormelZ) Lithiummethyl-dimethyl-phosphin der FormelLiCH2-P(CH3 )z.3) Verfahren zur Herstellung von Lithiuramethy1-dimethylphosphin der Formel LiCHp-P(CH-,)p, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man Lösungen von Trimethylphosphin und Lithiumalkyl in einem inerten Lösemittel unter Ausschluß von Luft und Feuchtigkeit vex-einigt, den ausgefallenen weißen Niederschlag abfiltriert, mit dem inerten Lösemittel wäscht und trocknet.4) Verfahren nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man als inertes Lösemittel aliphatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, vorzugsweise η-Hexan, Äther oder Amine einsetzt.5) Verfahren nach Anspruch 3 oder 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man als Lithiumalkyl sekundäre oder tertiäre Alkyllithiumverbindungen, vorzugsweise t-Butyllithium, einsetzt.6) Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 3 bis 5» dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man die Umsetzung bei Temperaturen von -80 bis +1000C vornimmt.7) Verfahren zur Herstellung von Tetramethyldiphosphinomethan der Formel (CfU)2P-CHp-P(CH-,)2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man eine Suspension von Lithiummethyldimethyl-phosphin der Formel LiCHp-P(CH^)2 in einem- 10 809827/0063organischen Lösemittel unter Rühren mit Dimethylchlorphosphin umsetzt und das Reaktionsgemisch destilliert.8) Verfahren zur Herstellung von Tetramethyldiphosphinomethan der Formel (CH-,)2P-CH2-P(CH^)2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man eine Suspension von Dilitbiomethan ■ der Formel Ta9CH2 oder Magnesiomethan der Formel
