Mahlmaschine mit mehreren gegeneinander beweglichen Flächen.Grinding machine with several mutually movable surfaces.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 3. Januar 1912 ab.Patented in the German Empire on January 3, 1912.
If the flour is ground with the help of stones, so it often happens that the grain in the time in which it is passed through the stones and is milled, is heated so high that the heat necessarily damages the flour and makes it inferior and in the case of the roller mills, there is again a particular step
For this reason, the present invention relates a grinding machine with several surfaces moving against each other, in which two vertically hanging stones or equivalent other grinding media made of corrugated cast steel surfaces or porcelain in this way pressed and moved up and down that the grist, which from above is poured between them, is ground in an advantageous and extensive manner. to For this purpose, two grinding media of rectangular shape are so suspended and against each other pressed that a drive attached above them the grinding media so up and down moved so that they grind grinding media poured between them well. These grinding media can be used once, depending on whether you want to grind fine or coarse Way strongly or weakly pressed against each other, but also lengthened in this way or be shortened so that the miller is able at all times to control the grinding process in each the way you want. Furthermore, every grinding chair can also be designed in such a way that Do not rub the two grinding surfaces directly against each other, but between them when grinding A fixed wall is built in on each body going up and down Side has a grinding surface, so that the grinding process now takes place in such a way that only one grinding surface goes up and down, while the second grinding surface stands still. At this It is also possible to arrange the grinding surfaces from stones and on one side the other side of fluted chilled cast iron or porcelain, or vice versa, like that Circumstances just make it necessary.

These Carriages 2 are guided in the guides 3 in such a way that one guide is fixed, while the other guide can be moved so that a carriage 2 and its Stone ι by a spring 4 against the other slide opposite him and its
Stone is pressed. A rod 5 also engages in a joint 6 on each slide 2 on and the rod 5 is with a lever 7, which from the! Transmission in a corresponding Way is driven by a rod 8 in connection. If the lever 7 is moved by the transmission, they go Slide 2 ″ and stones 1 pass each other in opposite directions, and generate a rubbing of the stones 1 against each other. From above is now through the Hopper 9 and the feed 10 brought the grist between the stones and ground. So that the carriage 2 can move as easily as possible, are in a known manner Rollers 11 are arranged on the guides 3. There now the poured grist must go through the entire length of the stones and the If stones 1 have a uniform width from start to finish, the grist remains in contact with the grinding surfaces longer than with the roller mills not so differently claimed, as with the millstones, that it can easily become too much can heat up and become inferior. The consequences of this arrangement are that the grinding process must be faster, produce a more uniform product, and less Force needed. Depending on the type and fineness of the grist, the springs 4 be stretched more or less strongly in the known manner, but also be the stones 1 extended or shortened by a further piece. This extension, which The grinding of the various products is made much easier and can be done without the chair having to dismantle, attach or unscrew. Another embodiment is that between the two rising and falling stones 1 a fixed plate 13 (Fig. 8 to 11) attached can be. This plate 13 is now attached to the chair in a suitable manner (Fig. 10) and the guides 14 are both movable so that both guides 14 in the known Way by the springs 15 with their stones 16 against the fixed plate 13 can be pressed. The grinding process now differs in that the middle plate 13 is fixed and thus only the one grinding side is movable, as with the Millstones.
