Abstract
Description
Process for the production of a reinforcing reinforcement Protective sheath on electrical conductors The invention relates to a method for the production of a protective cover serving as reinforced reinforcement on electrical Conductors and / or veins, using inorganic, especially mineral, preferably glass silk fabrics in the form of threads and / or foil strips.
It is known to use fiberglass threads in the production of cables, which are usually used as reinforcement, d. H. Outer jacket serving as mechanical protection in the form of braids or the like. Used. For binding the fiberglass threads a relatively complex process is required, because this is previously by means of Enkharzen and / or lacquer coatings accomplished, in which, however, different Disadvantages can be seen. First of all, the fiberglass threads cause considerable damage Abrasion on the sealing or wiper plugs of the corresponding production machines, which results in an uneven paint application. In different places the conductor often leaves a very thin resin or lacquer application the braid or the like at the cut ends spring up again, whereby precise further processing, especially on automatic assembly systems is no longer possible. Furthermore, the conventional glass fiber tube can be opened Move the line so that the line no longer runs through holes and cable bushings can be drawn. After all, this can be done at the points of the thin paint application Tear open the fiberglass thread, causing the finest bits of fiberglass to break off the threads and fly around in the air and come into contact with human skin, which is known to cause severe itching on this. The main disadvantage with the well-known, provided with a fiberglass reinforcement ladders, however, is in the necessary manufacturing method, caused by the subdivided operations or - in the case of continuous operation - in the high level of machine wear see.
The invention is based on the object of a method for To show creation of a conductor sheathing, which are pending in the known processes Avoids disadvantages and is particularly easy and cost-saving to carry out.
The solution according to the invention is that the casing in in a manner known per se by spinning, wrapping, braiding or braiding is formed, with a thermoplastic plastic in addition to the glass silk materials is incorporated in the form of threads and / or strips of film, after which the fabrics fusing the envelope formed in this way by the action of thermal means be bound.
The method according to the invention represents an advanced asset the cable production, because all to carry out the method according to the invention necessary devices and devices anyway for the basic equipment of a cable production and any additional equipment can be obtained inexpensively. Of special The advantage is the post-treatment work that is saved compared to the classic process for fastening the spliced fiberglass cover during assembly.
Another feature of the invention is that the envelope is formed by the parallel running of fiberglass and thermoplastic plastic material, thread-like and / or film-like origin, with subsequent thermal Treatment to fuse the fabrics used.
The invention can also be realized if the envelope is formed by coated from thermoplastic material, i. H. soaked or coated glass silk material with subsequent thermal treatment.
As tests have shown, polyester or polypropylene are particularly suitable to carry out the process or as a thermoplastic part of the substances entering the composite.
In summary, the invention shows a method by means of which has the desired effect, namely a machine if the process is highly reliable to create cleanly processable line sections, is achieved in an optimal manner. Through the thermal treatment goes to the thermoplastic used Such a bond-with the glass silk one that an extremely clean, smooth and stable heat-treatment layer is achieved with consistent quality, even though the Invention primarily also relates to a method for creating a conductor coating is turned off, it is by no means restricted to this. Rather, strand-shaped Body of any kind, such as B. hoses, pipes or the like.
in ebensolch vorteilhafter Weise mit einer äußeren Schutzschicht nach dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren versehen werden.in just such an advantageous manner with an outer protective layer the method according to the invention are provided.
