Abstract

A method for applying thermal cladding to a flat or curved surface uses stepped profile insulating blocks (1) with the overlapping edge profiles (2, 3) reducing the heat losses through the support structure. A stepped profile support element is fitted into the overlapping edge profiles and is secured by conventional fasteners. The support structure is slotted to further reduce thermal conduction. The system can also be applied to curved support surfaces, e.g. curved roof.

Claims (12)

1. System zum Befestigen bahn- oder plattenförmiger Dämmmaterialeinheiten (1, 1', 1") auf einem Untergrund (10), insbesondere Rundsheddächern, das ein an dem Untergrund (10) festlegbares Befestigungselement (4) mit einem ersten Abschnitt (14) aufweist, der über einen im wesentlichen rechtwinke­ lig dazu ausgerichteten Steg (24) mit einem zweiten Abschnitt (40) verbun­ den ist, wobei der zweite Abschnitt (40) im wesentlichen rechtwinkelig zu dem Steg (24) und im wesentlichen parallel zu dem ersten Abschnitt (14) ausgerichtet ist und eine erste Dämmmaterialeinheit (1) formschlüssig an dem Untergrund (10) festlegt, wobei ein Befestigungsmittel (6) zum Festle­ gen einer zweiten Dämmmaterialeinheit (1') an dem zweiten Abschnitt (40) des Befestigungselementes (4) vorgesehen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der zweite Abschnitt (40) und der Steg (24) mit durchgehenden Schlitzen (30) versehen sind, so dass das Befestigungselement (4) unter Biegung des ersten Abschnittes (14) an einem gekrümmten Untergrund (10) festlegbar ist. 1.
