Abstract

Lenkvorrichtung für nichtmotorisierte Rollstühle, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass diese durch eine einseitig an einem der freilaufenden Vorderräder angebrachte Fußraste ausgebildet wird.

Description

  • Die Lenkung eines normalen Rollstuhles richtet sich an jedem schrägen Untergrund aus. Daher fährt der Rollstuhl z.B. auf Gehsteigen nicht geradeaus, sondern folgt dessen Neigung. Die hier vorgeschlagene Lenkung schafft für Rollstuhlnutzer, die einen Fuß nutzen können, Abhilfe.
  • An einem der beiden Vorderräder des Rollstuhles wird eine Auflage für den Fuß so angebracht, dass sie im Sitzen mit dem Fuß zu erreichen ist (siehe 1 und 2). Mit dem aufgesetzten Fuß (siehe 3) ist der Rollstuhl zu steuern.
  • Auf ebenem Untergrund ist es ausreichend, nur eines der beiden Vorderräder zu lenken; das andere folgt der Richtung von allein.

Claims (1)

  1. Lenkvorrichtung für nichtmotorisierte Rollstühle, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass diese durch eine einseitig an einem der freilaufenden Vorderräder angebrachte Fußraste ausgebildet wird.
