Description
Claims (2)
einen Tintentank; eine Druckkammer, welche mit dem Tintentank verbunden ist, um den Druck der Tinte zu erhöhen; ein piezoelektrisches Element zur Bewirkung von Druckfluktuationen in der Druckkammer durch Anlegen eines elektrischen Signals; ein Diaphragma, welches mindestens einen Teil einer Wandfläche der Druckkammer bildet, und welches mit dem piezoelektrischen Element durch ein elastisches Material gekoppelt ist; einen Beschränker, welcher als ein Durchgang zur Zuführung von Tinte an die Druckkammer dient; und eine Öffnung, durch welche Tintentropfen aus der Druckkammer ausgestoßen werden, wobei das Verfahren die Schritte umfaßt:
Antreiben des piezoelektrischen Elements durch einen Antriebspuls, welcher eine vorbestimmte Pulsbreite in einem Bereich von 60 bis 100% einer Helmholtz-Resonanzschwingungsperiode eines Tintenvibrationssystems hat, wobei das Tintenvibrationssystem die Öffnung, die Druckkammer, den Beschränker, das piezoelektrische Element und das elastische Material umfaßt.
