Despite these additional uses of the tailgate ( 2 ), the conventional tailgate function, the advantages of which are known, is not lost.

Personenkraftwagen mit wenigstens einem in einem Karosse­ rieausschnitt schwenkbar gelagerten Karosserieteil, insbesondere einer Heckklappe, in der wenigstens ein um eine karosserieteil­ feste Schwenkachse gelagertes Klappenelement integriert ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß den Karosserieteil (2) aus einem starren, an die Abmessungen des Karosserieausschnitts angepaßten und an diesem schwenkbar gelagerten Rahmen (3) sowie aus wenigstens zwei in dem Rahmen (3) schwenkbar gelagerten Klappenelementen (4 und 5) aufgebaut ist, die gemeinsam die Karosserieteilfläche bilden.1.
