Description

Gebiet der Erfindung
Die Erfindung betrifft rein ölige kosmetische Mittel mit einem Gehalt an niederen Alkoholen.
Stand der Technik
Rein ölhaltige Formulierungen dienen in der Kosmetik als Fettungsmittel und enthalten üblicherweise eine oder mehrere Ölkomponenten, wobei mittelspreizende Öle, wie beispielsweise leichte Pflanzenöle oder dünnflüssige Paraffinöle besonders bevorzugt sind. Eine Übersicht zu den Entwicklungen auf dem Gebiet der Hautkosmetik findet sich beispielsweise von P. Busch et al. in Parf. Kosm. 73, 62 (1992). Ein Problem bei der Formulierung derartiger Mittel besteht jedoch darin, daß das Hautgefühl in praktisch allen Fällen als fettig und belastend angesehen wird, was dem Wunsch des Verbrauchers nach sensorisch leichten, frischen Produkten entgegenläuft. In diesem Zusammenhang sei ferner auf die Druckschrift H. Janistyn: Handbuch der Kosmetik und Riechstoffe, 3. Bd., S. 487, 733, Hüthig Verlag, Heidelberg, 1973 verwiesen, in der ein Massageöl offenbart wird, welches neben Ethanol eine Ölkörpermischung bestehend aus Paraffinöl, fraktioniertem Kokosöl und Guerbetalkohol enthält.
Die Aufgabe der Erfindung hat somit darin bestanden, neue kosmetische Mittel zur Verfügung zu stellen, die neben den erforderlichen fettenden Eigenschaften und einer besonders hohen hautkosmetischen Verträglichkeit dennoch ein leichtes und frisches Hautgefühl vermitteln.
Beschreibung der Erfindung
Gegenstand der Erfindung sind kosmetische Mittel, ausschließlich bestehend aus
  • (a) Estern von linearen und/oder verzweigten Fettsäuren mit Guerbetalkoholen und
  • (b) Ethanol und/oder Isopropylalkohol
    mit der Maßgabe, daß das Einsatzverhältnis (a) : (b) im Bereich 90 : 10 bis 95 : 5 liegt.
Überraschenderweise wurde gefunden, daß bei rein öligen Formulierungen, z. B. Babyölen, die sensorische Leichtigkeit, d. h. Frische der Produkte durch den Zusatz geringer Mengen niederer Alkohole beträchtlich gesteigert werden kann.
Gewerbliche Anwendbarkeit
Die erfindungsgemäßen Mittel zeichnen sich neben der hohen hautkosmetischen Verträglichkeit durch eine besondere sensorische Leichtigkeit und Frische aus. Sie eignen sich daher in besonderer Weise zur Herstellung von Haut-, Pflege- und Babyölen.
Beispiele
Die sensorische Beurteilung der erfindungsgemäßen Formulierungen 1 und 2 sowie der Vergleichs­ formulierungen V1 bis V6 wurde von einem Sensory Assessments Panel bestehend aus jeweils 6 erfahrenen Personen durchgeführt. Die Skala der Bewertung reichte von 1 = "sehr frisch, leicht" bis 5 = "fettig, belastend". Angegeben sind die Mittelwerte von 3 Panels.

Claims (1)

  1. Kosmetische Mittel, ausschließlich bestehend aus
    • (a) Estern von linearen und/oder verzweigten Fettsäuren mit Guerbetalkoholen und
    • (b) Ethanol und/oder Isopropylalkohol
      mit der Maßgabe, daß das Einsatzverhältnis (a) : (b) im Bereich 90 : 10 bis 95 : 5 liegt.
