Mit 1 ist eine Backofenmuffel für einen nicht dargestellten Herd od. dgl. bezeichnet, die einen Back- und Bratraum 2 umschließt und deren frontseitige Beschickungsöffnung 3 durch eine Tür verschließbar ist. In den beiden Seitenwandungen 4 und 5 der Backofenmuffel 1 ist je ein senkrecht stehendes Führungsgitter 6, 7 aus Rundstäben zur Auflage von Gargutträgern, wie z. B. Back- und Bratbleche, Grillroste, Fettauffangwannen und dgl., einendig eingehängt und damit lösbar gehaltert. Zum einendigen Einhängen der Führungsgitter 6, 7 ist in den beiden Backofenmuffel- Seitenwandungen 4, 5 im oberen Bereich vorne und hinten je ein Durchzug 8 vorgesehen, in dem das Führungsgitter 6 bzw. 7 mit einer doppelt gekröpften beiden Rundstabenden 9, 9′ eingebracht ist (Fig. 5). Das parallel zur jeweiligen Backofenmuffel-Seitenwand 5 (4) verlaufende, eingehängte Führungsgitter 7 (6) stützt sich oben und unten über abstehende und zur Muffelseitenwand 5 (4) hin gerichtete Rundzapfen 20, 21 lose an dieser ab. Jeder der Gargutträger- Führungsgitter 6 bzw. 7 ist mit mehreren Auflegern (Führungen) 10 versehen, so daß die Gargutträger in unterschiedlichen Höhenlagen (Ebenen) im Back- und Bratraum 2 plaziert werden können. Um diesen Zweck zu erreichen, sind die beiden Führungsgitter 6 und 7 über ein Sicherungselement 13 miteinander zusammengekoppelt bzw. verbunden, so daß sich auf diese Weise eine starre bzw. in sich versteifte Führungsgitter-Einheit ergibt. Das Sicherungselement 13 ist ein schwenkbarer Riegel, der an dem einen Führungsgitter 6 angelenkt ist, so daß er um sein Gelenklager 14 innerhalb des Back- und Bratraumes 2 nach allen Richtungen hin problemlos verschwenkt werden kann. Das Sicherungselement 13 (Riegel) bildet mit dem zugehörigen Führungsgitter 6 eine unlösbare Einheit. Durch Verschwenken des Sicherungselements 13 in Richtung zum gegenüberliegenden Führungsgitter 7 wird dieses in einen Verriegelungseingriff 18 mit dem betreffenden Führungsgitter 7 gebracht (Fig. 6). Der Verriegelungseingriff 18 besteht aus einer im Führungsgitter 7 ausgebildeten Öse 15, wobei das Sicherungselement eine in die Öse einsteckbares Hakenende 16 aufweist. Das Hakenende 16 hat eine angequetschte Rast- bzw. Sicherungsnase 17, durch die ein unbeabsichtigtes Entriegeln des in die Öse 15 eingebrachten Sicherungselementes 13 verhindert ist. Durch das sichernde Verriegeln des Sicherungselements 13 mit dem betreffenden Führungsgitter 7 sind beide Führungsgitter 6 und 7 in der Backofenmuffel 1 in ihrer eingängigen Betriebsstellung fixiert und damit unbewegbar in der Back- und Bratofenmuffel festgelegt.
