Es sind sowohl starre wie bewegliche Knöchelverbindungen zwischen Beinprothesen und deren zugehörigen Prothesenfüße bekannt. Meist sind jedoch bewegliche Knöchelgelenke bevorzugt und im Gebrauch» Fast alle diese aber haben den Nachteil, daß dazu metallische, manchmal mit Kunststofflagern versehene, also aus vielen Einzelteilen bestehende, teuere, somit komplizierte und relativ schwere und vex"schleiß- und korrosionsanfällige Teile notwendig werden. Sofern ein Teil dieser Nachteile bisher umgangen wurde, hat man ein elastisches Zwischenglied in Form einer elastischen Platte, vorzugsweise Gummi, oben und unten mit einer Metallschraube fest vulkanisiert und diese Schrauben als Verbindungselement zwischen den beiden Teilen benützt. Da der Zusammenhalt hierbei aber immer von der Festigkeit der Vulkanisation und nur wenig von der Zugfestigkeit der Schrauben abhängig ist, ist auch diese Verbindung nicht zuverlässig.
Die nachfolgend beschriebene, dieser Gebrauchsmusteranmeldung zugrundeliegende Erfindung beseitigt obige Mängel dadurch, daß zur Verbindung des Fußes (1) mit dem Unterschenkelteil (2) einer Prothese, bei Zwischenschaltung einer elastischen Platte (3) zur Erzielung einer allseitigen Beweglichkeit im Knöchelgelenk, eine genormte starre Schraube (4) mit Mutter (5) Verwendung findet. Um diesem einfachen, vertikal und durchgehend angeordneten Verbindungselement eine allseitige Beweglichkeit zu geben, wird erfindungsgemäß diese Schraube in. ein elastisches Element (6)

eingelagert, derart, daß wohl die Verbindimgs spannung zwischen Fuß- und Khöchelteil bestehen bleibt, deren seitliche Bewegungsfreiheit jedoch bis zur Grenze des durch die elastische Zwischenplatte gegebenen Bewegungsraumes gegeben ist, ohne diese Verbindungsschraube auf ihre Biegungsfestigkeit zu beanspruchen»

    1* Künstlicher Fuß, dessen Beweglichkeit im Knöchelgelenk durch eine elastische Zwischenplatte gegeben ist und dessen Verbindung zwischen Fußunterteil und Knöcheloberteil durch eine starre, vertikal stehende Verbindungsschraube hergestellt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verbindungsschraube in einem elastischen Element gelagert ist, derart, daß das Knöcheloberteil zum Fußunterteil eine, durch die gewählte Dicke und die durch die Schraube hergestellte Pressung der elastischen Zwischenplatte gegebene, begrenzte Bewegung nach allen Seiten ausführen kann, ohne diese Schraube einer Biegebeanspruchung auszusetzen,
  2. 2. Künstlicher Fuß nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das die Verbindungsschraube umgebende, elastische Element sowohl im Fußunterteil wie auch im Knöchelob erteil oder auch in beiden Teilen zugleich angebracht sein kann.
