Ship with an S-shaped fore and / or aft ship The pursuit
optimal ship shapes calls for the ships to be designed so that they have a large carrying capacity
the total resistance is low, the main processings of the ships are kept small
and the space conditions are as favorable as possible
generally meet these requirements for ships with relatively high speeds.
Up to now, increasing the speed has always required a reduction in the
Completeness of the repression but what an appreciation of the load-bearing capacity
Had a consequence. Conversely, increasing the load capacity was always at the expense of the
Speed. This made the economy of ships with a relatively large carrying capacity
extremely negatively affected. This was particularly detrimental to such ships
from where a large proportion of the entire company has varied on the travel time
Research has also confirmed that with variations on the conventional ship's proposition
a medication of the disadvantages mentioned is not to be expected. The purpose of the invention
therefore consists in the demand, which is becoming ever stronger on an international scale
after high ship speeds account is charged without this increase in speed
at the expense of carrying capacity.
The invention has the task
based on finding an Eehiffform that with a relatively large fullness of the underwater ship
a significant reduction in the resistance in the area of higher Froud'Echer numbers
has, without thereby affecting the Staoilitäts Behavior. According to the invention
This object is achieved in that in a ship with S- @ pantförmiGen fore and / or
Aft section for one frame each at 15% and / or 85% of the ship's length, measured
from the rear plumb line, in the area of 0.3 to 0.6, the construction depth an allowance
exists that is larger than the smallest allowance in the range from 0.7 to 1.2 des
Construction depth. Another cork mark of the invention is the construction waterline surface
in the fore and / or aft ship smaller than the area of the underwater lines in the area
half of the call. For multihull ships, a preferred variant is dos
Kaupter invention thought seen in the fact that the ratio of the width B of the individual hull
To the draft T of the ship lies in the interval 1.2 @ B / T @ 1.6. In the drawing
two embodiments of the invention are shown. Fs show: Fig. 1 den
Spantenrib a monohull ship and Fig. 2 is a plan view of a catamaran.
