Description
Swing bridge, the water-side pivotable end on a floating body The invention relates to a swing bridge, the pivot point of which is on a fixed pillar and the water-side pivotable end of which rests on a floating body. The new can be seen in the fact that on the floating head there is an additional, liftable and lowerable Immersion body is attached. Such additional immersion bodies are per se z. B. at Floating docks known. For a swing bridge there is an additional liftable and lowerable one Immersion body a very simple device for relieving and lifting the bridge . Only the additional pressures are absorbed by the immersion body while the main load of the bridge rests on the float. Compared to the known arrangements for relieving the bridge end, the immersion body drive results in a considerable Increase in working speed and efficiency. The first benefit is especially of great importance when the bridge is at busy points lies. An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing shown. To relieve and lift from the camp, io is the one on the water side End of the swing bridge 4. carrying float 6 with an additional immersion body i i provided by a not shown, known drive on the float 6 or at the swing bridge 4. can be raised and lowered. This immersion body only absorbs the additional pressures while the waterside end of the swing bridge 4 is mainly carried by the floating body 6.
