Vorrichtung zum Einfalten und Querverschließen eines aus faltbarem und schweißbarem Material bestehenden Verpackungsschlauchs unter Bildung eines standfesten Packungsbodens, bestehend aus einander gegenüberliegenden und gegeneinander quer zum Schlauch bewegbaren, im Bereich ihres Vorderteils keilförmig gestalteten Faltwinkeln, welche beim Querverschließen eines Schlauchabschnittes senkrecht zur Bewegung der ihnen zugeordneten Schweißbacken unter Einfalten des Schlauches aufeinander zuführbar sowie zur Erzielung eines ebenen Beutelbodens um eine Achse quer zur Schlauchlängsachse in eine Ebene senkrecht zu letzterer schwenkbar sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß nur zwei Faltwinkel (4, 5) oberhalb von quer zur Faltwinkelschwenkachse gemeinsam verschiebbaren Querschweißbacken (18) vorgesehen sind, wobei jeder Winkel aus zwei spiegelbildlich zueinander angeordneten Klappen (8, 9) besteht, die in ihrer Ausgangslage einen Winkel ç kleiner als 1800 einschließen und die, nach dem Zusammenführen der Querschweißbacken, um eine gemeinsame Achse in die Ebene senkrecht zur Schlauchachse unter Andrücken der gefalteten Schlauchwandteile an die Backen schwenkbar sind.
