Device for venting a work space The invention relates to
a device for venting a work space with the help of two suction pipes,
each of which contains a throttle valve.
In besonderen Fällen besteht
Deductions are for laboratories that work with isotopes
- also known under the name Digestorium - which are provided with a sliding window
are. The known fume cupboards have a secondary duct through which room air
is sucked off. When the sliding window is opened, this secondary exhaust duct is activated accordingly
reduced in its cross-section by a throttle valve, but the room air is
sucked through the open sliding window to a greater extent. It is also known
to change the total throughput through the fume cupboard by using appropriate flaps and
the air supply inside the fume cupboard, depending on whether heavy or light gases are used
to be extracted, to be changeable. In special cases there is
the task of reducing the air flow through the fume cupboard very strongly.
On the other hand, for safety reasons, the ventilation in the work area itself should be
be kept constant. The invention is based on the object of the ventilation conditions
in the work area regardless of the required air flow through the fume cupboard
close.
To solve this problem, a ventilation of a work area
assumed with two intake pipes, each of which contains a throttle valve, and the
Invention consists in the fact that the two throttle valves are connected to one another in this way
are that the sum of the effective cross-sections that can be changed by the throttle valves
of the two suction pipes remains constant. In this way it can be achieved that the air throughput
in an intake pipe, the z. B. communicates with a digestorium, strong
can be throttled without endangering people staying in the work area
due to insufficient air exchange.
A drawing serves to explain the invention. This schematically shows a sectional arrangement through a fume cupboard 1 and a suction line 2. The fume cupboard 1 is a cabinet-like workplace with an opening 3 which can be more or less closed by a sliding window 4. In addition, engagement holes provided with gloves can be provided in the sliding window 4. The air is extracted from the room in which the fume cupboard 1 is located, normally through the window opening 3, namely through an upper channel 5 and a lower channel 6, the ratio of the extracted air volume for the two channels being set as desired by a control flap R1 can to accomplish the main air extraction through the lower exhaust line 6 and the upper exhaust line 5. From the tubes 5 and 6, the exhaust air passes through a pipe 7 and a throttle valve 8 to the suction line 2. The throttle valve 8 is connected to a throttle valve 9 so that the throttle valve 9 in its line 10 opens the air passage to the extent that the Air passage through the throttle valve 8 is throttled. This ensures that the room ventilation remains constant in all cases, regardless of whether a filter opening 11 or a filter opening 12 or the fume cupboard 1 is used to ventilate the room. The filter opening 11 is used for additional room ventilation in the event that the room ventilation is partially throttled by the throttle valve 8. In the parallel line, the extracting air passes a slide plate R3, which is connected to the sliding window 4 by a wire or chain hoist 14 or in some other mechanical way so that the slide plate R3 sinks deeper into the pipe 13 to the extent that it is the further the window opening 3 is opened by pushing up the window 4 and vice versa. There is also a filter B3, which is connected to the suction line 2 via a short pipe connection 15. An additional slide 16 makes it possible to throttle this trigger path as desired.
