Schreib- oder Schreibmaschinentische sind in verschiedenen Ausf ührungsf ormen bekannt und bestehen in ihrem grundsätzlichen Aufbau aus der Tischplatte, die über einen Rahmen, eine Zarge od. dgl. ausgesteift ist, und besitzen ausziehbare Zusatzelemente, wie Schubladen, Rahmen für Hängeregistraturen u. dgl. Bei allen bekannten Ausführungsformen sind die Zusatzelemente nicht selbständige Bausteine, sondern gleichsam Füllungen oder Füllelemente von Gehäusen, welche die Zusatzelemente mit ihren Laufschienen u. dgl. aufnehmen. Die Gehäuse sind die statisch und architektonisch wesentlichen Elemente und als Kästen verbindungssteif ausgeführt. Die Zusatzelemente selbst sind statisch weich oder zumindest nicht verwindungssteif, sie werden von dem Gehäuse getragen. Bei vielen Schreib- oder Schreibmaschinentischen ersetzen die Gehäuse sogar die Beine, doch sind auch Konstruktionen bekannt, wo die Gehäuse mit ihren Zusatzelementen an Tischplatte und Beine angeschlossen sind. Im Ergebnis sind bei den bekannten Schreib- oder Schreibmaschinentischen funktioneile und architektonische Erfordernisse sowie statische Belange weitgehend voneinander getrennt und im Wege des Kompromisses in dem Möbelstück zusammengefaßt. Die funktionell notwendigen Elemente, wie Schubladen, Rahmen für Hängeregistraturen u. dgl., sind in architektonischer Hinsicht gleichsam verkleidet. Bei den erfindungsgemäßen Schreib- und Schreibmaschinentischen ist es tunlich, Vorsorge zu treffen, daß zumindest die eingeschwenkte und die ausgeschwenkte Stellung der Zusatzelemente fixiert ist. Dazu ist eine bevorzugte Ausführungsform der Erfindung dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Lagereinrichtung der Zusatzelemente eine Rastvorrichtung aufweist, die eine oder mehrere Schwenkstellungen, beispielsweise die eingeschwenkte und die ausgeschwenkte Stellung, fixiert.
