Nach diesem Verfahren wird eine mit eingebetteten Schmelzfarben versehene Kunstharzfolie auf das mit einer Trägeremailschicht versehene Teil aufgelegt und einem Dekorbrand unterworfen, bei dem die Kunstharzfolie verdampft, während die Schmelzfarben in das Trägeremail einschmelzen und das gewünschte Dekor bilden. Dies hat den Zweck, die Emailkörnchen unverrückbar festzuhalten und ein Eindringen von Wasser beim Auflegen der Folie in die poröse Emailoberfläche zu verhindern. Es gibt eine große Anzahl geeigneter Bindemittel, beispielsweise hat sich eine wäßrige Suspension von Methylzellulose, Polyvinylazetat oder eines Polyäthylenglykols als zweckmäßig erwiesen.
