Abstract

Das Spiralgehäuse weist im mittleren Bereich M der Strömungsspirale einen Strömungsquerschnitt auf, dessen Verhältnis der Länge X zur Breite Y im Bereich von 1,5 bis 2 liegt. Das Verhältnis der ersten Teilhöhe Y1 zur zweiten Teilhöhe Y2, die durch den Schnittpunkt P der Länge X und der Breite Y an einer Seite begrenzt sind, liegt im Bereich von 0,25 bis 1. Die am nächsten an dem Eintritt E des Strömungsmediums liegende und parallel zur Längsachse des Eintritts E verlaufende Begrenzung j des Strömungsquerschnitts steht mit der dem Laufrad der Kreiselpumpe am nächsten liegenden weiteren Begrenzung h des Strömungsquerschnitts im rechten Winkel alpha zueinander. Gegenstand ist ferner die Verwendung des Spiralgehäuses als Gehäuse für eine Kühlwasser-Kreiselpumpe in einem Kraftfahrzeug.
