Durch die Anordnung eines oder mehrerer Zusatzpolsterelemente auf dessen Oberfläche kann dieses auch an individuelle Bedürfnisse des jeweiligen Fahrzeuginsassen angepaßt werden, wobei das oder die Zusatzpolster auf einfache Weise vermittels von Klettbändern oder -flächen befestigt werden kann. Alternativ dazu kann das Polsterelement auch so ausgebildet sein, daß dessen Anlageposition und/oder seine Oberflächengestalt veränderbar und somit wählbar ist. Der Vorteil der Anordnung eines Polsterelementes liegt in der Zurverfügungstellung einer gepolsterten Knieanlagefläche und/oder Unterschenkelanlagefläche des Beines des Fahrzeuginsassen, die eine erhebliche Komfortverbesserung, insbesondere bei Langstreckenfahrten, darstellt. Überdies bietet ein derartiges Polsterelement einen erheblich besseren Seitenhalt bei einer Kurvenfahrt, da sich der Fahrzeuginsasse mit seinem Knie und/oder Unterschenkel sicherer und weniger anlagedruckbelastet abstützen kann.
