Abstract

A knitting method is provided with which a shrinkage size in a knitting width direction of a plate-like knitted part can be adjusted. In the knitting method for knitting a platy knitted fabric 3, in which second rows 2 are arranged on the back of first rows 1, at least a part of the platy knitted fabric part 3 is formed by a first knitting. The first knitting comprises a step A, a step B and a step C. When the first row 1 is knitted in step A, division knitting is carried out on a first base stitch 41 of an existing row 4 and becomes a first main stitch 11 which is formed by of the first base stitch 41 is knitted. Technical field

The present invention relates to a knitted fabric with a plate-like knitted part and a method for knitting the same.

State of the art

As a knitting technique on a flat knitting machine, plating knitting is known which uses first and second knitting threads for simultaneous knitting on a single needle. In the case of plating knitting, a knitted plating piece is knitted in which second rows knitted with the second knitting thread are arranged on the back of rows knitted with the first knitting thread. The plating knitting uses a special thread guide which is provided with two guides for the first knitting thread and the second knitting thread. Alternatively, the plating knitting can also be carried out by simultaneously moving a first thread guide for feeding the first knitting thread and a second thread guide for feeding the second knitting thread. It should be noted here that in this description the “front side” is to be understood as a side that is visible from the outside in a state of use of the knitted fabric, and the “rear side” is to be understood as a side opposite the “front side”. Furthermore, a “first row” is a row of stitches that are knitted with the first knitting thread and are arranged next to one another in a knitting width direction, and a “second row” is a row of stitches that are knitted with a second knitting thread and arranged side by side in the knitting width direction.

There has also been proposed a knitting method for knitting a plate-like knitted article that looks similar to a plated knitted article without using a special thread guide. For example, in the patent literature 1, a plate-like knitted piece is knitted, in which a first row and a second row, which are knitted with different timings in each case, are superimposed in a thickness direction. The knitting process essentially involves knitting a first row on an existing row using a first knitting thread, and then knitting a second row connected to at least some of the stitches of the first row using a second knitting thread, so that the stitches of the first row and the stitches of the second row are overlaid in the thickness direction, and this procedure is repeated. In this way, a plate-like knitted part in which second rows are arranged on the back of the first rows can be knitted.

Summary of the invention

Technical problem

A plate-like knitted part is often used for, for example, a collar or a waistband in a rib structure of a knitted fabric with simple stitches. The reason for this is that, in addition to the original stretchability due to the structure of the collar or waistband, the stretchability of the collar or waistband can be further enhanced by using an elastic thread as the second knitting thread. Advantageous effects of the invention

According to the knitting method of the present invention, a first double stitch included in the knitting of the present invention can be formed. The first double stitch is formed by the first main stitch and the first sub stitch, which are drawn in opposite directions from the same stitch (hereinafter referred to as a base stitch). Knitted loops of the base stitch are placed between a sinker handle of the first main stitch and a sinker handle of the first subsidiary stitch, and shrinkage thereof is restricted. Accordingly, the plate-like knitted fabric having such first double stitches is less likely to shrink in the knitting width direction. By changing the number of first double stitches that are formed in the platelike knitted part, a fine adjustment of the stretchability of the platelike knitted part is possible.

The second knitting that is performed when the platelike knitted part is knitted can make the second knitting thread less visible from the front of the knitted fabric. The reason for this is that the second main stitch and the second sub stitch are pulled in the same direction. Claims (4)

Knitting method for knitting a platelike knitted part (3) in which second rows (2) are arranged on a rear side of first rows (1), using a flat knitting machine with a first thread guide (8) for feeding a first knitting thread (8Y) and with a second thread guide (9) for feeding a second knitting thread (9Y), the cladding-like knitting part (3) being obtained by knitting a first row (1) on an existing row (4) using the first knitting thread (8Y) and then knitting, using the second knitting thread (9Y), a second course (2) connected to at least some of the stitches of the first course (1) so that the first course (1) and the second course (2) overlapping in the thickness direction, repeating this procedure wherein at least a part of the plate-like knitted part (3) is knitted by the first knitting and the first knitting comprises: a step A for performing, when knitting the first row (1), a divisional knitting on a first base stitch (41) of the existing row (4) for knitting a first main stitch (11) drawn from the first base stitch (41) , a step B for knitting, when knitting the second course (2), a first sub stitch (21) which connects to the first base stitch (41) in a wale direction and in a direction opposite to the direction of drawing the first main stitch (11) is pulled, and a step C for laying the first main stitch (11) and the first secondary stitch (21) on top of each other.
