Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Frontend eines Kraftfahrzeugs mit einem Frontendträger gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1. Frontendbereiche an Kraftfahrzeugen sollen einerseits eine möglichst steife obere Struktur quer zur Fahrtrichtung aufweisen, um sowohl die Karosseriesteifigkeit zu erhöhen als auch die Kräfte eines Motorhaubenschlosses sicher in die Fahrzeugstruktur einleiten zu können. Andererseits soll ein Frontend des Kraftfahrzeugs zur Erfüllung der Fußgängerschutzanforderungen möglichst nachgiebig ausgebildet sein. Neben den genannten Anforderungen sollen sich die bei einem reparaturfähigen Unfall/Aufprall entstehenden Schäden zudem möglichst kostengünstig wieder beheben, das heißt reparieren lassen. Die vorliegende Erfindung beruht auf dem allgemeinen Gedanken, ein Frontend eines Kraftfahrzeuges derart aufzubauen, dass die Reparaturkosten bei einem reparaturfähigen Aufprall/Unfall möglichst gering ausfallen, insbesondere jedoch kein aufwändiges und damit teures Richten eines Karosserierahmens bzw. Instandsetzung eines Kühlmoduls erfolgen muss. Das erfindungsgemäße Frontend weist dabei einen Frontendträger auf, der einen oberen Querträger, kurz auch Schlossquerträger genannt, einen unteren Querträger und daran anschließend sich nach oben erstreckende Seitenträger besitzt, die in Abstand zueinander angeordnet sind und zwischen sich ein Kühlmodul aufnehmen. Erfindungsgemäß ist der Frontendträger in Hybridbauweise hergestellt, das heißt er weist eine metallische Einlage auf, die mit einem Kunststoffüberzug umspritzt ist. Zusätzlich sind zumindest eine Sollbruchstelle und ein Aktivator vorgesehen, wobei die Sollbruchstelle im Bereich einer Anbindung an einen unteren Rohbauflansch des Kraftfahrzeugs angeordnet ist und der Aktivator derart zu einem Biegequerträger positioniert ist, dass bei einem reparaturfähigen Unfall/Aufprall der Wegequerträger das Kühlmodul lediglich verschiebt, nicht jedoch beschädigt. Durch die Hybridbauweise des erfindungsgemäßen Frontendträgers lassen sich sowohl die Sollbruchstelle als auch der zumindest eine Aktivator kostengünstig und in einfachster Weise an den Frontendträger anspritzen, wobei der Aktivator generell als Puffer dient, der eine Aufprallkraft auf den Biegequerträger an das Kühlmodul weiterleitet und dieses dadurch verschiebt, ohne dies jedoch zu beschädigen. Ohne den erfindungsgemäßen Aktivator würde der Biegequerträger bei einem Unfall/Aufprall direkt auf das Kühlmodul auftreffen und dieses dadurch stark beschädigen, so dass es im ungünstigsten Fall komplett ausgetauscht werden muss. Durch die Sollbruchstelle im Bereich der Anbindung an den unteren Rohbauflansch des Kraftfahrzeuges kann darüber hinaus gewährleistet werden, dass nach dem reparaturfähigen Aufprall/Unfall lediglich der Frontendträger ausgetauscht werden muss, die rohbauflanschseitigen Anbindungsstellen an den Frontendträger jedoch unversehrt bleiben, wodurch ebenfalls die Reparaturkosten gesenkt und dadurch eine günstige Kaskoeinstufung erreicht werden können.The present invention is based on the general idea of constructing a front end of a motor vehicle in such a way that the repair costs for a repairable impact / accident are as low as possible, but in particular no time-consuming and therefore expensive straightening of a body frame or repair of a cooling module has to take place. In diesem Bereich ist somit eine Verbindung der unterbrochenen metallischen Einlage lediglich über eine Kunststoffmembran gegeben, die die eigentliche Sollbruchstelle bildet und die bei Überschreiten einer vorbedingten Aufprallkraft bricht, ohne die Schnittstelle zwischen dem Frontendträger und dem Rohbauflansch zu beschädigen. Der in Hybridbauweise hergestellte Frontendträger lässt sich dabei einfach an individuelle Karosserieformen bzw. Fahrzeugtypen anpassen und ebenso einfach auf unterschiedlichste Aufprallsituationen ausrichten.
