Bei dem vorbeschriebenen Frontendmodul sind die Anordnung des Leuchtengehäuses mit einem zur Stoßfängerverkleidung außenhautbündigen Oberflächenverlauf und auch eine gleichmäßige Fugenausbildung zwischen dem Leuchtengehäuse und den umgebenden Karosserieelementen, insbesondere jedoch der Stoßfängerverkleidung, erleichtert. Das Zusatzelement kann dabei derart ausgebildet sein, das zwischen den übereinander angeordneten Elementen Stoßfängerquerträger und Leuchtengehäuse ein Toleranzausgleich möglich ist. Auch sind der Montageaufwand wegen des Wegfalles des Arbeitsschrittes der Verschraubung der Montage-Führungsteile am Montageträger, die Fertigungszeit und damit auch die Fertigungskosten reduziert.
