Abstract

The textile floor covering, and especially a carpet, is a wool nonwoven (1) as the base material, with yarn sections at the upper surface forming a pile (3) in structured zones. The yarn sections are secured to the wool nonwoven base by local adhesive. The yarn sections can be knitted or tufted on to a carrier material (2), which is bonded to the base (1) by adhesion or stitching. Or the yarn sections are knitted or tufted directly into the wool nonwoven base (1). The wool nonwoven base (1), as a felt material, can have a carrier layer through it with openings in the base to be filled with the pile (3), where the pile yarn sections are knitted or tufted into the carrier layer or the carrier material (2), which is bonded in place in alignment with the openings. The yarn sections are prepared gathered bundles, to be bonded by an adhesive to the woven carrier. Elements can be bonded to the under side of the wool nonwoven base (1), at the openings, for the yarn sections to be pulled up from the carrier material in tufts, leaving projections on either side to form a woven underlay as a bottom layer of the floor covering. A woven carrier layer, with wool nonwoven elements bonded to it by an adhesive or stitching, has yarn sections filling the spaces between them to form a pile (3) bonded to the woven carrier.

Description

The invention relates to a textile floor covering, in particular another a carpet.

Textile floor coverings can be knotted, woven, knitted or be tufted. Tufted carpets consist of a carrier ge woven or knitted, often made of polypropylene or polyester, in the pile threads are tufted or embroidered. For fixation the loop of the cut pile legs is as Backing designated backing fabric with latex or coated with a synthetic adhesive. From DE-Gm 1 883 414 it is known to use the first back a second Glue back made of wool felt because of this laying tech niche advantages.

Different designs can be made with such textiles Floor coverings only by using pile yarn under different colors and / or different materials (e.g. cotton and silk). At most it can still within the same carpet, the pile height by under different shears can be varied.

A tufted doormat is known from US Pat. No. 5,885,684. whose pile consists of a plastic yarn and after one specified motif is colored so that the enamel point in the area of the subject increased. By concluding precisely controlled heat treatment then melts the pile in the uncolored areas so that the the subject forming pile areas raised against the rest of the surface stop. So the back is continuous with one Plastic fiber pile provided that the desired design melted and depressed accordingly in some areas  becomes.

A doormat is known from DE 86 90 183 U1, the Back consists of a backing layer that is used for stabilization tion of a fiber base material that serves in certain areas melted and joined together down to the carrier layer is pressed so that wells form, in which the ends of the melted bristles for a better cleaning effect through the bristles to achieve.

Die tief liegenden Bereiche zwischen den Noppen sind mit Fasern be flockt, die mit dem Grundmaterial verklebt sind.DE 30 17 102 C2 is a carpet made from a basic size material known from rubber or the like, the surface is profiled in the manner of large pimples. The deep areas lying between the knobs are with fibers flakes that are glued to the base material.

The invention has for its object a textile Provide flooring that is a significantly larger Design diversity as the well-known textile floor coverings allows.

This object is achieved in that as Base material wool felt is used, the top side be richly with a pile of yarn sections see is. Thus, the carpet has a top or Visible area on both areas made of wool felt as well  Florware areas included. This visible area can both profiled as well as profiled in height or staged his. This enables completely new designs and design Effects.

The yarn sections can on the wool felt by selective Adhesion to be attached (claim 2).

Stattdessen können die Garnabschnitte auf ein Trägermaterial gestickt oder getuftet sein, das auf den Wollfilz aufgeklebt oder aufgenäht ist (Anspruch 3).Instead, the yarn sections can be placed on a carrier material be embroidered or tufted, glued to the wool felt or sewn on (claim 3).

Eine weitere Möglichkeit besteht darin, die Garnabschnitte in den Wollfilz zu sticken oder zu tuften (Anspruch 4).Another option is the yarn sections to embroider or tuft in the wool felt (claim 4).

An spruch 5).The problem underlying the invention can be with the solve the same advantages in that as the basic material Wool felt used on a continuous backing is, the wool felt has recesses with a pile of yarn sections are filled (An Proverb 5).

The yarn sections can be inserted into the carrier layer embroidered or classified (claim 6).

Alternativ können die Garnabschnitte auf ein Trägermaterial gestickt oder getuftet sein, das seinerseits auf die im Bereich der Ausnehmungen freiliegende Trägerschicht des Wollfilzes aufgeklebt ist (Anspruch 7).Alternatively, the yarn sections can be placed on a carrier material be embroidered or tufted, which in turn matches the im Area of the recesses exposed carrier layer of the Wool felt is glued (claim 7).

Eine weitere Möglichkeit besteht darin, die Garnabschnitte zu vorgefertigten Bündeln zusammenzufassen, die auf das im Bereich der Ausnehmungen freiliegende Trägergewebe aufge klebt sind (Anspruch 8).Another option is the yarn sections to summarize in ready-made bundles, which on the im Exposed support fabric exposed in the area of the recesses are stuck (claim 8).

The problem underlying the invention can also be  with the same advantages as well solve that as a base material wool felt with recesses is used, in which elements from the bottom are glued, which consist of a carrier material, in the one that forms a pile, fills the respective recess lende yarn sections leaving a supernatant of the Carrier material are embroidered or tufted, one continuous base fabric the bottom layer of the floor forms coverings (claim 9).

A fourth solution of the on which the invention is based Gift that also offers the advantages mentioned exists in using a backing fabric on the wool felt elements are glued or sewn on and the gaps between the wool felt elements with a pile forming Fill in sections of yarn that fill on the base fabric are set (claim 10).

In the drawing are to explain the invention below different embodiments of textile floor coverings Darge table in partially sectioned side views provides.

Fig. 1 shows a carpet consisting of a Grundmateri al 1 made of wool felt, on the top a thin support material rial 2 z. B. is glued, in which previously formed a pile 3 yarn sections have been embroidered or tufted.

Fig. 2 shows a floor covering with a base material 1 made of wool felt, in which the yarn sections forming the pile 3 are embroidered or tufted. A latex layer 4 fixes the yarn loops on the back. Instead of latex, a synthetic adhesive can also be used here and in all other embodiments.

Fig. 3 shows a floor covering with a base material 1 made of wool felt, which has recesses 1 a. The wool felt is glued via a latex layer 4 to a continuous carrier layer 5 , which generally has a considerably smaller thickness than the wool felt and z. B. can consist of a woven or knitted fabric made of polypropylene or polyester. The Ausneh mungen 1 a can be in the supervision from edge to edge by going stripes or closed peripheral edges, that is circular, rectangular or a similar outline. The recesses such as 1a are filled with Florware 3 . For this purpose, as shown, a tufting material can first be produced or cut, which consists of carrier material pieces 2 of the same format as the recesses 1 a with tufted or embroidered yarns. For fastening, an adhesive 6 is used to coat the latex layer in the area of the recesses.

Instead of using, as in the case of FIG. 3, the tufted material from above into the recesses 1 a, it can as shown in FIG. 4 are also inserted from below. For this purpose, the yarns are embroidered or tufted in a carrier material 7 which is provided with a latex layer 8 on the underside. The carrier material 7 has a somewhat larger format than the area of the recesses 1 a and a circumferential free edge 7 a for attachment to the underside of the felt 1 . The attachment can be done by gluing or sewing. As a rule, the carpet is given a second back, not shown here, made of a suitable material to create a continuous floor contact surface and to stabilize the wool felt.

The carpet shown in FIG. 5 has yet another structure. It comprises a carrier fabric 9 , onto which wool felt elements 10 spaced from one another are glued by means of an adhesive 11 . The gaps are filled with pile fabric 3 , which is fastened to the carrier fabric 9 , here in the form of yarns, which are tufted or embroidered into the carrier fabric 9 and fixed with a latex layer 12 .

In all embodiments, the thickness of the Wool felt and / or the thickness of the pile or pile fabric can be varied by additional shears or milling to achieve design effects.
