Její složky, kterými jsou například nenasycené mastné kyseliny, vitaminy především řady B, aminokyseliny, enzymy, hroznový a ovocný cukr, minerální látky a další, svým vyváženým složením příznivě ovlivňují metabolické pochody, zlepšují stav kloubních onemocnění, působí preventivně proti rakovině, chorobám srdce a cév i proti nejrúznějším infekčním onemocněním, což vše bylo mnohokrát potvrzeno renomovanými lékařskými pracovišti v cizině i v tuzemsku (Felix R. Paturi: Natůrlich gesund mit Schwarzer Melasse, Sudwest Verlag GmbH, Munchen 1998; Cyril Scott: Černý zázrak, Vita ReformVerlag, Dulliken, 4. vydání, 2000). Účinky třtinové melasy se ovšem projevují v plném rozsahu až po dosti dlouhé době pravidelného požívání, což v některých případech může představovat určitý negativní moment; rovněž ne všechny složky třtinové melasy jsou v ní přítomny v dostatečném množství. Proto se nabízí myšlenka doplnit třtinovou melasu o některé další látky pro urychlení a posílení jejího účinku.Cane molasses, also known as black molasses, is known for its beneficial effects on human health with long-term regular ingestion.
